Scheduled a haircut for a specific time. I came in ten minutes early and checked in. Stylist was cutting a kids hair cut and told me it would be a couple minutes and said I could walk around the store or have a seat. I walked around the store for twenty minutes and she was still working on kids hair. Sat for another 15 minutes before I finally got up and walked out. As I went to another salon I called ulta to speak with a manager. No apology and she decided to tell me there was a bad connection and hung up. With so many bad reviews and similar stories from customers why isn’t the owner or upper management looking in to the unprofessional staff that work here. People need to put complaints directly to the corporate office since managers in the store itself care about as much as it’s rude and unprofessional employees and hair techs. They put more effort, time and care in to their own personal hair and makeup applications just to come in to work but don’t care about anything else once they get there. Hire people for what they are being paid for. The store needs an employee makeover. Pun intended.

Called to cancel my make up apt 30 min prior. And just said oops idk why the computer put that person on your apt. Didn’t really seem to care I was left hanging for my graduation event today

Very disappointed. Made an appointment with a specific stylist, got to my appointment and the stylist was with another client. Employees apologized for moving appointment to someone else and said it was because scheduler did not put an R next to appointment. Then was told another stylist would be doing hair. 15 minutes later(already late for my original appointment) a third stylist is saying she is going to do hair. I ask what happened to the second one and was told that she was now running late. No organization, not a care that appointment was moved to someone else(I had specific reasons for requesting the stylist I did). Though I was given a little bag as an, I am sorry, does change my mind on the professionalism. I felt bad because the third stylist assigned to do appointment got me in a very bad and annoyed mood. Definitely not her fault. She was great.

What you don't deserve stars Ulta. I work close by and offen walk thru looking for help. No one ever asks if I need help. They are never stocked with current products. I always end up walking out and going to CVS where the prices are cheap and the workers ask you if you need help. I did call and report this to Ulta, however nothing was done. Still the same service. The employees are in there own world. They don't look like they want to be there and more or less help you with anything. I have never given a bad review. My friends rate me as a person that is always happy. This is hard to accept and I am upset. It's awful...never buying here. So Ulta in Manchester, don't change for me because it's fun to go in to your store with friends and prove myself wrong,,opps I was right. Poor service. you should be ashamed of yourself. You would look better flying a kite.

I wish I could have given this salon zero stars. I went to the ulta salon this afternoon for pretty much the most basic haircut anyone could ask for. I requested an even one-length collar bone level cut with a few angles in the very front. To be fair, the front of my hair is fine, not great, but fine. The back, however, is a different story. I have to quote the other google reviewer and say it looks like a child took a pair of preschool scissors to my hair. It is uneven, choppy, and is missing a chunk in the back, right in the center. I tried washing it and straightening it and curling it and putting it up and I cannot hide this awful haircut. Please do not go to this salon if you have any respect for your hair. Take the extra time and money to find a professional, because these girls are certainly not that.
