Story

Featuring luxury eyeglass and sunglass designer brands including Super, Karen Walker, Dita, Thom Browne, Westward Leaning, Illesteva, Cutler & Gross, The Row, Thierry Lasry, and Stella McCartney. We are also the exclusive New York City optical carrier for Miu Miu, Celine, and Romeo Gigli. We cater to a sophisticated clientele of eye wear shoppers all while matching frames to each client’s unique personality and style.

We've developed a concierge optical program in which highly trained eyewear fashion consultants make house calls for private viewings of new eyewear lines before they hit the shelves.

This shop is incredible ! Best service ever. I never had the particular lenses my doctor prescribed and the owner was very patient explaining how to use. Also, the eye glass frames are very unique and prices are unbeatable. High quality eye glass shop. Thanks so much for your service ! I’ll be back for sure.
Owner was incredibly rude. Went for an eye exam and to discuss lenses that I paid for pre pandemic. I was in the midst of emailing information as proof and he said he would not honor the previously paid for item, as ownership had changed. Claimed I was trying to get something for free, which I in fact paid for. Not worth dealing with bad service. Said we were trespassing and threatened to call the police. Shockingly bad service and bad business ethics.

I had a great experience at the ultimate spectacle, I was in New York for vacation and lost my contacts. Didn’t have a prescription and yet this very kind lady gave me FOUR pairs of daily contacts for FREE! Made my whole day 5 stars for this place!

I LOVE THIS STORE!!!! They have the best selection of glasses and their stylists are so helpful and honest about what looks good on me or not!. I have happily bought many glasses from them. My prescription is complicated and they do a wonderful job filling it. The Ultimate Spectacle is the go-to place for style and service. It's my favorite store!!
Hands down the best eye appointment I’ve had since I was a kid and candy was involved. The staff and DR were beyond cordial and really took their time to make sure I was okay. This was especially helpful after coming off a bad experience at Cohens. I cannot speak highly enough of this place and look forward to returning. Thank you!
Fantastic, in selection, customer service, turnaround time, quality, and price for the product. I've now purchased two frames here and the quality of their stock is outstanding. They carry some of my favorite brands including harder-to-find models by Masunaga and Anne et Valentin. Annmarie took the time to help me through my indecisiveness, was super friendly, honest about what looked good, and was never pushy. She was super communicative by phone and email and the glasses were ready in hours. I will continue to work with Ultimate Spectacle for all my eyewear needs!
