Very nice selection of high quality merchandise at reasonable prices. The owner is a man knowledgeable in his products and his stock. Extremely friendly, down to earth, patient and not at all pushy. If you're into the outdoors and outdoor sports, this place has what you need to get out and enjoy outdoor life in northern Vermont. Step inside and enjoy great sales and experienced advice on anything he sells from kayaks to winter jackets and skis..... Recommend a stopover here.

I have been kayaking for over 15 years, and have found Umiak to offer the best equipment at the best prices, particularly for roof racks and kayak accessories. They are totally upfront about what will work best for you even if they don't have the item. These folks are totally professional and know what they are doing.
