I have worked for this company two different times. This current time I've been there 11 years. You are treated very fairly and respectably. Just like any other job, you get the respect back that you give. If you apply yourself and do your job well there are plenty of opportunities for advancement. Uniforms are provided, even including a belt and a tie if applicable. The Company wages are on par with other security companies. You have to realize that it is the client who sets the wages, not United American Security. And management can only work with what they are given. Or some people who start out okay and then just stopped showing up for work, or just start screwing around. There's a lot of incompetent people out there. All I have to say, if you don't like UAS try working for any of the other companies in the area. See how badly you're treated there. I've been in this line of work for 28 years and this is the best company I've worked for.

I've never been impressed with the pay from this company however generally it hasn't been bad to work for most of the people have been generally nice. Under most circumstances they've been willing to work with me. It's a nice starter or a job just to get some extra money here and there.

Worst security company I've ever worked for. The guard training me told me that she's been working for them for over 10 years, and has never once got a raise. They pay minimum wage. They don't even provide you with a uniform. All they gave me was a short sleeved shirt, and I had to buy the rest. Very unprofessional, and all their posts seem to be in the ghetto. No thanx!

This is an excellent security company, with a great attention to detail. I would hire them to protect my company assets. Their managers are very attentive and communicative if an issue arises. I appreciate their security guards who work hard every day on post.
