So, the power has been out in the Columbus area overnight. However, the power was restored for most parts this morning. I arrived at this UDF location around 9:30 this morning 6-15-22 to purchase a beverage from the refrigerator. Upon my arrival, one member of staff was removing the makeshift “closed” signs from the doors, which I assume were created during the outage yesterday. I politely greeted her at the door in hopes to ask her if they were accepting customers inside. She either didn’t hear me or just ignored me. I walked in and held the door for another customer approaching. I began to make my way to the refrigerators, which were ON AND WORKING, but had signage stating “do not open.” Again, from when we were without power. As I approached the refrigerator, the girl whom ignored my existence at the door, aggressively told me “AY, YOU CANT OPEN THAT.” So I didn’t open anything and promptly left. While the experience was very brief, the amount of disrespect and disregard from this employee left me with the most bitter taste. I am not a child and I do go out of my way to treat others with the same respect I would give myself. I did not get this employees name, but I figured a public review would give her some perspective of her actions that she chooses to portray behind closed doors. - Thomas
Signs of "no cash card only" on door & nothing is stocked... Why is UDF building new facilities when they don't maintain what they have??
Morse Rd was down to one lane with traffic backed up and not moving due to road work. I was headed for my normal gas station at Costco but was on empty so stopped at UDF to make sure I didn't run out of gasoline before getting to my destination. I tried paying at the pump but it rejected my credit card. So I paid indoors and explained that the pump had just rejected the same card that worked fine indoors. When I tried pumping the gas that I paid for indoors, the pump wouldn't work. I went back in and asked what to do. They said they would reset the pump and to go ahead and pay with my card again this time at the pump. They said resetting it would remove the charge they had just put on my account. But the pump still didn't work so I moved over to the next pump and purchased gas at it, again paying with my card. Guess what? Now I have two charges posted to my credit card. Only one for gasoline I actually purchased. I called UDF and they are looking into it but said they don't normally remove a charge unless the two match exactly. Of course these two charges don't match. What a great way to rake in the bucks. Like gasoline wasn't already out of control to begin with. I don't normally shop there and definitely won't ever again. What a cluster it has been to simply purchase gasoline there.
It would be nice it the employees weren't on their cell phones and would actually acknowledge the customers. What useless trash.
Went in for a milkshake. While I was standing next to a cart full of delicious ice cream, was informed that the dip side was closed. From my previous experience with the company, this statement should be false as that side should never be closed. In addition, there have been times when the employees were not trained correctly or able to follow requests.
I always get ice cream but everytime I come here for they don’t have sherbet, I get it because it has no milk. They never have it out. They get smart when you ask to buy the tub. I was upset and went to another location.
So everytime I go to this location there employees are rude! And there bathrooms are always out of order when I know there not! This is a gas station! There should be access to the restrooms! So people dont have the luxury to use the bathroom wile at work. I am a pest control technician and I count in restrooms to be available! At least at a damn gasstation... smh terrible place!!!
This place has went so far down hill in the past couple months. Ive been coming here every morning for 2 years to get coffee. The lady that works in the morning now is by far the most useless person that has ever worked here. Wish I could give 0 starts
I worked there for around three months as a summer job management was unprofessional. Having the store manager complain about her job and not do anything but sit in the back. Complained about how things weren’t getting done and failing QA. If you chose to work at this location be prepared to have a lot of stress. Management put pressure on the staff, over working them until they left. Everyone that I have worked with has left due to poor management and communication. There’s a new manager that is staffing the store and hopefully fixing the problem. Other than that the only benefits you get is free drinks fountain drinks, slushees, and coffee and a very small discount on somethings in the store. If you are looking to take up this job be prepared to lift boxing weighing over 25-30 pounds, cleaning, stocking, and preparing for the next shift. Over all it’s a good experience to get to know customers and the regulars. Customer service needs to be number one. You also need to have a back bone a lot of customers will put you down and yell at you. You need to treat them with the best customer service and try to fix the situation.
This store need to be closed. It is joke Employees are rude as hell.
