University Mall

Fast in and out trips and easy to find shops. Great sales and the science center is a great stop if you have children too!

The University Mall doesn't have a lot of options. Macy's and JC Penney are pretty much its anchor stores. There are some other constants that have been there for a long time, but stores don't always last very long here. There's nothing particularly outstanding about this place, but the stores it does have are decent.

It's a nice mall. Its pretty lively in most of the mall, but there's one side that barely ever has anyone there. The food court is completely empty; there aren't any eateries in it anymore. But it's a pretty nice mall with a decent variety.

The University Mall in Carbondale, while not the thriving Mall that it once was, is still a fairly interesting place to go shopping. Prices, like any mall, or higher than you would expect anywhere else. But there are quite a few diverse places to shop. Which always makes it an interesting experience.

The mall is dying. The food court was moved to the far end of the mall and no one goes there now. They also recently shut down the theater too. There are a few good stores there, but they aren't really worth going to because they are expensive. Ross is the only reason to go to the mall at all but, it doesn't even have an entrance to the interior off the mall.
