University Veterinary Hospital

Have been bringing our two dogs and cat here for about 4 years. They are the top in care and compassion. They really do love what they do! They have been so helpful and caring to our animals through every step of their aging process. We recently had to put our 15 yr old lab/husky mix to sleep and the compassion, and treatment was so touching. From the time we were allowed to spend with our dog, to the service, explanation of what would happen, to the process of taking him home. They even gave us an impression of his paw print in clay for a keepsake. I truly do believe they have extended the lives of our animals. I will not go anywhere else and they are the best. I HIGHLY recommend Dr. Shannon Jarrell who has been the doctor for both of our dogs and cat as well as Dr. Gragorio. There’s no one better for vet/pet care in the SBC.

What an amazing place! Never do you hear of a vet clinic or hospital allowing the dog owner to go back and see where everything happens! Everyone is so kind and caring. They give the best treatment to all fur babies! If you aren't using them, you aren't getting the best!

i had to bring my 6 week old puppy to the er vet, she was in the wrong place at the wrong time. I had to bring her to my vet the next day and I had been wanting to change vets so I decided to try uvh, and man are they good. not just good but down right awesome! I have used a few different vets in Shreveport and until now I could not find one I liked. I have 5 dogs of my own, and with the fostering I do, and the rescues, this place will be getting all my business. the vets are super friendly and want the best for the animal. another good this, is they don't seem to be money hungry like the last vet I used. they are just awesome. I cant thank them enough for the love and care they gave my puppy!

This is by far the best veterinary hospital I've ever brought my dogs to! No other hospital is as thorough or caring as the team here. Everyone here is so compassionate, caring, kind and friendly. They take the best care ever of my fur babies! The grooming and boarding team is also phenomenal! Thankful to have such a great place to bring my babies to.

The best place and the only place I will take my fur baby!! He had been to other vets but then I was told about University Vets and it was the best decision I have ever made!! Pete loves their kisses and hugs!!!
