US Post Office

I sent my boyfriend to pick up a package for me with the redelivery slip signed. They didn't bother to match up the slip with the package, and instead of one shipment I was expecting got a different box entirely, so I had to ask the customer service of the product to send a new one, because God knows what happens to your packages once they arrive here. There was one male employee who helped me load a large parcel into my car, and that's the only good employee I've noted to work here.

Moved places and now i have terrible mailmen who never take the previous tenants mail and when i ordered a package it was marked "package delivery attempted but driveway not accessable" not once but twice. Its funny because ups had no problem with delivering my package. Oh and my package also arrived partially broken and the box had a corner ripped out of it. Not only that but the mailmen as of right now are incredibley rude

Worst post office in Anchorage. They had absolutely annihilated a lamp that my dying 80 year old grandmother sent me. There were fragile stickers all over it and she had also paid for insurance on it. I get it, the box is partially open, dented in several spots, clearly had just been tossed around like garbage with no regard for the sender or recipient. I take it over to the post office and not only did one woman roll her eyes at me because i was extremely upset, but the male who I was actually talking to told me there was nothing he could do. So I stood there crying with two kids and a shattered lamp from a dying family member and no one cared in the slightest. They just wanted me to shut up and leave so they could "help" the next person.

Does anyone know when we should be expecting our mail delivery? Theres always a long line and only 2 people working, if you arent going to deliver our mail then there needs to be one person designated for pick ups!!

This post office shouldn't even get a star. Non stop problems with packages being put in wrong mailboxes & thus post office acts like its not a big deal

When you have packages out for delivery during the weekends like in saturday, expect that to be delivered on monday. Always, always, say its out for delivery then says, delayed. Ups and fedex are always on same day, if not, faster.

They were supposed to hold my package that they refused to deliver yesterday, but when I went in today they told me they sent it back. Victoria seems to be the diamond in the rough here, actually trying to help the issue at hand. Thank you for trying, Victoria.

No post office box on the outside for me to drop a letter into? This is real. Visiting the area and wanted to send some postcards. The gigantic post office should have a drop box like every other post office. Nope. Not here. This is absolutley ridiculous. For someone with a PO Box they can't even get their mail after 6pm.

I had an excellent experience with the postal worker that assisted me in setting up my postal box!

The worst post office hands down. The employees don't listen, they have no patience, and the people at the counter have a terrible attitude. Terrible, terrible terrible.
