My favorite clerks are the young girl and the Spanish guy. They always help me with no problem and have a great personality. It’s a old lady there I really think she needs to retire she gets really aggravated and huffs and puff when you in her words is “asking for too much” I asked for a receipt and she said I was killing her. It was a lightskined girl with glasses there she was awful I’m assuming they got rid of her because she had a very short temper, lazy and disrespectful. I can’t lie it’s way better without her. I do agree that the postal service need to hire bilingual people
Slow service causing long queues. Go early if you have something planned afterwards. They take forever to locate the package if you missed delivery and chances are high that the package may be lost or misplaced.
Rude, unprofessional. Its almost like these women dread coming to work everyday. I overheard one clerk telling another clerk that if a particular customer had come to her window, she would have refused the customer service because of something with the customers box. Smh. Refuse service!! And the clerk said it out loud with no shame. These are public servants disrepwcting and treating the people they serve like this. I was told that i couldnt use a particular tape on my parcel. I went to another PO and the woman graciously processed my parcel. Smh. This is shameful.
NEED TO HIRE HISPANICS!!!! Unprofessional,Horrible Workers are very nasty and rude! There's a woman working there at the Broadway Post Office in Newark and she's always on her cellphone while customers at the counter. A customer got angry at her because she was on her cellphone, Also they need to hire Hispanics, how many time I was in line and I couldn't leave to about 15 minutes later because I had to help customer's translate for Hispanics. the post office do not have Hispanics workers all they have is African-American. I dont know why there's NO Hispanics worker's at the Newark Broadway I had to help a few Hispanics "while i was there in line" but unfortunately I had to say, "I'm sorry I cannot stay here to help everyone" post office need to hire Hispanics. The Federal government should investigate all the Post Office on how there treating the customers. Enough is Enough! Let go of those worker's and hire New ones that want to work at the Post Office's.
This location is just as bad as 7th Ave, if not worst. When I got to the window, a female worker with 2 pieces of tissue stuck in her nose refused to help me, said she didnt have access to look up tracking numbers. No attempt to do anything. She told me to go to Main Street. POINTLESS!!!
This post office is a disgrace !! While waiting in line I just noticed how dingy and dirty the inside is. Roaches were on the counter and I didn’t want to touch anything what a health and public safety issue! The line is terrible due to there only being ONE EMPLOYEE. Things need to change here !! It’s apparent to any person that walks in. My customer service otherwise was great the teller had a lot of patience and he was more than happy to help!
This post office is the worst !! My priority mail 2 day turn into 2 weeks horror & my recipient have yet to receive their package because it’s lost and I still don’t know where the heck my package could be. I think they are stealing packages here. This is my 2nd encounter at this location. DO NOT GO HERE!! Stay away!!!
I had the nicest attendant ever. Never have i had a nice person at the counter who helped until this day.
They should really close this USPS because the workers clearly don’t want to work. I know PLENTY of people who dodge this USPS and go to another one just to not deal with these rude people. Might as well close it down and open another business or replace the horrible employees whichever will make the world a better place.
If I pay taxes to keep the USPS employees employed. Why can’t I just get my packages delivered with honest and dignity. Clearly everyone has time to be home to receive packages now but mail carriers still choose to Lie and say they attempted to deliver something they never even Tried to deliver. I live on the first floor I Literally watched the mailman walk in with no package for days from the expected delivery date and so on. The “we missed you” slip was sent next day because they never tried on the actual day. If you don’t want to carry 5-10 lbs as your job just quit. They lie and will never try to deliver your package .. let alone redeliver when you send in slip and online function. Spent a week exhausted trying to avoid exposure of COVID by trying to get my package delivered. They only want you go wait in line long Outside the building for an hour just to be berated almost to the point of verbal and physical abuse yes physical, throwing objects behind glass in rage towards customers for something that ours. PLEASE CLOSE THIS LOCATION DOWN!!! Or get Kearny employees to come give better customer service!
