Like a lot of institutions, The United States Postal Service has really cut back on hours. This location, however, has kept some of the best availability in Honolulu. The employees are helpful and efficient. Though it is not the closest, this is my go-to post office, and probably the one I use most.
Came here around 10:15am to mail out a letter. I needed a envelope with a postage stamp! Line was out the door! There was only one girl working out of the 4 registers. They need more workers! What heck is going on?
They need to provide seats to customersall the customers wait long long time. I don't think they don't know so many customers outside standing. Tired peoplesenior mankids and workers who work all day. I hope your post Office change a little bid.
Always busy but staff is always helpful IMO.
Monday morning! 11:14 am, line is so F…. Slow and long morn than 1h line….. only one staff work! Really don’t understand why!
Very nice surprise after stepping in this post. In entrance lady , she give people direction and help me with right envelopes. On Window I here they ask "everybody " how is your day, thank you for comming. I just was impressed... still people working with respect to costumers!
Needed to mail a parcel so I went to the Ala Moana P.O. yesterday in the afternoon. under Longs. There was a line but due to several counters being opened, we moved along quite quickly. While waiting, I bought 2 funny birthday cards and would've bought gift cards, yes, they sell it at the P.O.!! but I already bought some. I also needed stamps so bought the ones w/the tiger pics- the Save the Vanishing Species one. They sell it w/a extra charge so money goes to help these animals. There are many others to choose from. Also picked up mailing parcel envelopes for my husband. Talk about 1 stop shopping, Lol! The counter mailwoman was very nice n helpful. I left w/a smile on my face. Parking is busy so I left right after so others could park there.
Love this Post Office. Even if there is a line it moves fast. The staff there is awesome, bring your aloha
Always sending something international every week through this post office and Lance has always been on top of things, whether its getting me in and out of there as quick as possible or making sure I know of a more economic way of getting mail shipped. Especially during these hard times, its nice how he's looking out for us young folk.
This is the post office you would like to avoid. 3 out of 5 priority mails and register mails are missed. Staffs are not willing to help, they just want to go to work and get paid. The rest are non of their business.
