Worst post office EVER!!! For some reason USPS will not deliver packages anymore, and they require you to pick them up at this location which is basically a warehouse in the middle of nowhere. Bus service does not even go here, so it’s impossible for people to pick up their packages if they don’t have a car or cannot get there before 5 PM when it closes. I wonder what dum dum thought this was a good idea. You cannot even have them send your package to a different post office which is close to you in your neighborhood — only this location which is in the middle of nowhere and difficult to get to. USPS used to be my preferred shipping method, but after how bad the service has gotten over the last decade I am trying to use only FedEx or UPS whenever possible. The Postal Service is just not reliable at all anymore.
This post office employees the most incompetent people for drivers. My office has a box in a cluster mailbox for the whole building. More often than not our mail is delivered to the wrong box which are clearly marked with the business's name and suite number as well as getting other business's mail. Our mail has been stuck in a box that is clearly marked "VACANT", mail found in this vacant box included checks totaling in the amount of $500k. We spoke with management, no resolution. I've filed complaints with the Postal Service, still nothing. I have called this post office repeatedly, with no answer.
Absolutely worthless. Never answers the phone, even when there’s NO ONE IN THE BUILDING!!!!!! Slow, never delivers my packages!!!!!
I have had issues with getting my mail on a consistent basis. It is constantly delivered to the wrong address and I've filed at least 4 complaints online and have spoken to a rep at least twice and yet I continue to not receive my mail. This is the worst post office I have ever dealt with. I am extremely disappointed with the fact that my mail is misdelivered because of neglect to check that the correct address is being delivered to.
I heard my dog growling and barking in back yard that faces the street seperated by chain link. I go out back to find the mail carrier on his hands and knees laughing very hard while throwing little sticks and rocks at my dog to tornent it. He continued this action for another 30 seconds as i glared at him he finally wishes me a "good day" as if a mailman on his knees harassing my dog is anything near normal.
I’m disabled without a car,I’ve tried twice to get their to get my mail box key for my apt mailbox. I hurt all the time and a mail carrier told me I could walk there. I tried the most was one mile I walked, it took 3 days to somewhat recover. I tried to call but it’s a endless recordings and promps . PTSD disabled veterans
It took forever to get my post office keys. The very rude lady at the front desk told me my keys would be ready in exactly one week and didn't tell me anything about waiting for a phone call about my keys being ready. Even though I don't actually live anywhere near this office, they still made me come all the way over to get my keys. So my keys weren't ready the day I came for them and the more helpful lady at the desk let me know that the first one should have informed me that I would actually get a phone call. So I finally get the phone call about my keys being ready nearly a week after I was originally promised the keys. This doesn't end there though. They never fixed the locks on the package claim boxes for our mail so nobody in my apartment complex can get their packages out of the package claim box. We were told that this office would be the one to change these locks. Many of my neighbors and I have complained about these locks but nobody ever seems to want to do anything about that and so we always have to wait for a mailman to come so that MAYBE we can get our packages. It shouldn't be this much of a hassle to get packages. The only positive thing I have to say about this post office is the fact that most of the carriers seem like nice people. EDIT: I took off a star because the guy who did come out to help was extremely rude about it.
Possibly one of the most incompetent post offices I've ever had to deal with. If you ever have an issue with packages or mail not being delivered, chances are you'll have to come here to retrieve it or have to contact this location to report lost items. Ever since I've moved here I've had consistent issues with my mail and packages being "lost" by the postal service once they reach Albuquerque. When I try and contact the office to inquire as to what has happened to my mail, it's anyone's guess whether or not I'll get through. Even if I do get through to someone on the phone, empty promises to look into it are made or I basically get told that there's nothing they can do about it. The supervisor Valerie, mentioned by other reviews on here is especially guilty of this. I've been told by her before that she would personally look into what happened to my packages and call me back, only to never hear from her again. Then when I called back a week later she acted like the previous phone call had never happened and that this is the first she's heard of it, even insinuating that I'm lying about having spoken to her about his before. Essentially, the management here will make you feel like it's somehow your fault that they can't seem to get mail correctly delivered to your house. It's for this reason that I try to deal with USPS as little as possible and have a mail box at the UPS store.
Most incompetent bureaucratic organization with which I've ever had the displeasure of interacting. This is why socialism doesn't work, because this is what happens when the government has no competition. We ordered a mail key a month and a half ago. The post office had no record of it, or the mail hold form we filled out, so two weeks later we requested a key again and filled out another hold form. A week later, still no key, and once again, no record of it. I've now visited this post office five times and repeated this process, and this time the supervisor, Valerie, told me HERSELF that there is STILL no record of our key request. Moreover, she demanded to know which employee I had spoken with before as if they tell you their names, but I've pretty much spoken with all of them at this point. She also lied for some reason and told me that the clerks working today are the only clerks who have worked there for the last two months, essentially telling me not to believe my friggin' senses. Lastly, she gave me an email address to send a copy of my lease to AGAIN, so we can restart the process a sixth time. This place is completely effed. You will never get your key. Give up. UPS all the way.
Be prepared to wait. I been to this office multiple times on my lunch trying to send a package. I dont even have time to eat because that how long the wait is. If there is not enough staff they take their time.
