If your mail has to be distributed by this location good luck to you. The staff is not friendly and they’re hostile at times. I had to do a temporary change of address because I was going to be gone for a while. When I got back I did the resume delivery form expecting it to start being delivered at my address again. The mail was still being delivered at the temporary delivery address for weeks even after the form was submitted. I went back in and did the form several more times on separate occasions because the same thing kept happening. After a month and a half of trying to get my mail, it still wasn’t being delivered and the people kept saying they’d submit the form for me but they didn’t really care so I doubt they sent the form off. The last time I went, I was there for probably 30 minutes trying to get it straightened out and the guy said it was nearing the end of the temporary address change so to just wait for it to start arriving. By that time, I hadn’t been receiving my mail for nearly two months. It was a huge hassle and headache and the staff was very unhelpful throughout the whole ordeal. They actually acted as if I was inconveniencing them and wasting their time. I’ve also heard them acting the same way to other people who needed help with something more than just buying stamps or shipping a package. They don’t have patience for people and behave as if they’re holier than thou and it’s a sin that you’re asking them questions to understand whatever it is you’re asking about. Moral of the story is, I’d rather go to the dentist than have to try to do anything at this post office.
I’ve been here multiple times, and the service has always been positive, and efficient. Clerks have been very knowledgeable on best ways to mail speciality items.
Very speedy little post office. The employees were knowledgeable and kind.
My envelope needed a single piece of tape to close and ship. I was told they cannot supply it for me and I’d have to go find tape to close it even though they had multiple opened rolls behind the counter. Pettiness is unmatched.
Very nice man working the desk. Bought a pack of postcard stamps. Was in and out in less than 5 minutes.
The middle aged female front desk clerk needs a bit of an attitude adjustment. While what she said wasnt inherently rude the delivery was condescending and snippy with not only me but the woman in front of me and the gentleman behind me as l was leaving. I brought in a box to reuse with an old label thinking they would print a new label to stick over it. I brought it up to the counter to get some assistance and she told me "i cant just print a label YOU need to label it" and gestured me back to the self serve tabel with labels and cards then tells me to get back in line. I quickly glance around and the only "label" i see is sticker for hand written label for priority mail. I a hurry and fill it out and get back in line and I ask "is this the right one?" To which she responds "well are you sending it priority?" Im like "no I dont think so? Just the cheapest is fine" she responds with well just address i. I ask cant you just print the new label? She tells me i have to write it on the box a because she cant print it and then tossed me a sharpie. Mind you i brought my own box already used and taped. There is like a 3in square that i can write that isnt already labeled andcovered in tape. I squish the address in and hand it back...then she just prints a new label in 2 seconds to cover the previous.
Carl has TERRIBLE customer service skills. He hung up on me today and interrupted me several times. We have a wall mounted mailbox and he refuses to turn our mail service back on until we have a curbside mailbox. I explained to him that our wall mounted mailbox is up to their regulations according to the usps website and he just kept saying "it has to be on the curb". All of our neighbors have wall mounted mailboxes so I don't understand why we have to be different. Sounds like Carl and his post office friends are just lazy and can't walk to our front door.
Clerk no. 08 is consistently rude and impatient, even when there’s no one in line. Throughout the pandemic he wore a face shield with no mask. The shield was so small that it barely covered his nose let alone his mouth. Today, with no one in line behind me at about 9:30 AM he was unbelievably rude when I asked for some clarification about mailing books and other printed materials. He treated me with extreme disrespect, even contempt, when I hadn’t complained at all but had simply asked for more specific information and a small clarification. I think he has some sort of emotional issue and at best, is poorly trained. He behaves as if he cannot be fired which makes me wonder if this is the case. I’ve put up with terrible service from him for the last time. I’ll wait in a long line elsewhere before dealing with this pathetic person again.
If I could leave negative stars I would. When you work 2 jobs and your days run from 6am to 10pm before your home 6 days a week excluding Sundays, it seems pretty significant that while in transit from job 1 to job 2 that I should be able to stop by and pick up a certified letter when I am not at home to receive it. Especially after you have missed the rescheduled pick up because the you had to work later at job 1. But when you go into a post office and all they can do is smile at you and tell you that they can't find your mail, that's pretty terrible. To add insult to injury, a professional should never promise to have his supervisor call you back and take all your information down when the supervisor has no intention of contacting you. This office has a long history with me at least, of incompetence and an unwillingness to have a greater attitude of competency, aptitude, customer service, or standard of operations. I thought that you had to test to be employed with the postal service. I'd assume that with a package clearly listed as being sent by the State that they would have a bit more attention to detail. But I suppose not. Avoid this office, and if they are your main postal delivery dispatch I advise having important things sent by FedEx. At least they seem to have a handle on things.
This post office is very clean, people are courteous and nice. The employees are very professional and caring about your needs. Lived here for over 5 years and have no complaints. They have helped me numerous of times. Even the mail delivery gentlemen is amazing. I can always count with my mail on time and when he goes on vacation he let's me know. Wish other post offices were this friendly. People really don't know how to appreciate what they have until they lose it. For the rude customers
