Chuck is simply great. If you read this, big hugs from spain!
I had an appointment to file my application for a passport. The clerk was extremely efficient and had a great sense of humor.
Asking Chuck about passport information. It sounds like he had other important people he needs to attend to rather than helping me. Terrible place to go for passport services. Would recommend somewhere else.
Great staff, helpful and courteous. Also, the building was so cool!!!!
Best place to renew Passport, they even do your photo $15. Chuck is one cool cat! He's eligible for retirement and continues to work because he loves his job. Thanks my friend, you made it easy peasy, and I thank you for the extra attention and info for getting ALL the thing's I needed!
I am quick to send a complaint, as having been a manager myself for decades, I wanted to learn what the problems are. But I am also quick to praise, as workers do not get enough of that. Today, on a scale of 1-10, I want to give Chuck at the Downtown Phoenix Post Office a 15! He is knowledgeable, patient and efficient. His resolution of a perplexing problem this week was above and beyond the call of duty. He took the time and showed a determination to fix the problem that is very unusual for customer service anywhere these days. If you still do old-school things like award Employee of the Month, Chuck has my vote!!!!
I use to go this location. It's near my work. The service is slow. I believe they like to take their time serving each person in line. The only clerks I really like is Hal and Chuck. One time David charged me for priority on 1 package and it suppose to be first class. He told me the package cost more, because of the distant. He didn't tell me he was charging me priority. I sent the tracking number to my customer. I realized on the USPS receipt, the number starts with 9505 that is for priority. David has mental issues. I know he drinks after work, because CeCe the employee transfer out to the main post office and she told me the story about him. We once argued about something related to postage. It's too bad, their was no witness. It was close to closing time. When I came close to closing time, I can see him rolling down the sliding panel, so he is showing he is closing on his side of the room. I feel sorry for Chuck have to deal with David attitude. I had over heard a lot of David bashing with Chuck. Chuck don't like to fight with David. The post office closes at 9:30 pm at the main office Van Buren. So after work I can get there without rushing. The staffs are always helpful and they are very professional. They also have a kiosk, so I don't need to wait inline. The downtown needs a kiosk. It's too bad the post office downtown don't provide it. They should. Also they should put a slot for packages to drop off. I believe it can give them more business, because there are over 100,000 downtown residents. But I wish the downtown post office luck. I give it 1 star, because for me to write a report about them. I really miss Hal and Chuck. The hours aren't convenient. They close at 5PM. I know people will be reading this rating and my name is exposed. But what the heck. Let the post office know. David needs to retire from the post office. He will charge you for priority when you don't need priority. He can be tricky if he doesn't like a person or he just like to do it when he feels like it. He is a very dishonest person. Customers beware!
Love this post office. Such friendly service!
Idk why people blast this place. Chuck is extremely nice and knowledgeable
Today I applied for a passport for the first time. I didn't really know what to do and was nervous about the process. Despite my fears, I had a great experience at this post office! The staff was extremely helpful, kind, and knowledgeable. Walked me through the process and gave me a nice history tidbit on the murals in the beautiful and historic building. I was in and out in 15 minutes with a smile!
