Just went in to get my baby his passport. The clerk refused my packet because his birth certificate didn’t match my legal name. I said that was my maiden name. I was then told to go change my documents to match the birth certificate. I said I’m not doing that. If the mistake is on the birth certificate that needs to change as I’m not changing my name back to my maiden. Call vital records and they say ma’am it will always be in your maiden name. I’m like wait what????? Look at the birth certificate sure enough states prior to first marriage. You could be married to 15 other people in your life and change as many times and the birth certificate of your child will ALWAYS have your original maiden name. I’m super angry. I didn’t even think because I just rushed out the door because I have international travel coming up. I have three other kids and didn’t have any issues. I should have pushed harder but the lady didn’t even recognize that she was on my husband’s visa page and not on his actual passport page when she told me his was expired. Now I’m like do I go to another office that has a clerk with more experience in processing passport? Probably…will try again tomorrow
Stacy approached me in an unwelcoming attitudes. I understand most customers can come off a bit like they are about to push their weight around. I understand how things can get when a customer is going to complain but if I'm approaching towards you without attitude and have questions about why my mail is not being sent and I have had problems before. It got fixed for only a month and now it's all over again. The only help I had was from Gary he explained professionally and was a witness on how I was treated. He made the situation a little at ease. He should take Stacy's job after the experience I had with her. Thanks Gary for an outstanding customer service! Stacy get another job that suits your attitude.
I keep being told I will get a call back and never do. I have not received my mail in 3 weeks , it was on hold and now all of a sudden they don't know where it is and keep telling me I postal service worker is off or now on vacation they have to wait. I'm not sure how my mail is just lost I have been waiting on documents that have a deadline and letters. I called today and spoke with s gentleman who again said he would call me back when I told him I'm told that often he I don't know who you dealt with before but I will for sure call you back and no call . I work same hours and have to take off just to go get my mail from here and this is a major disappointment. All I want is my mail how can you have no system to know where it went in the past almost 3 weeks. But still scan it in the informed delivery so I know I'm getting it just not actually received it.
I came to this post office for my passport and worked with Carla and I can not say enough great things about her. She was absolutely amazing. She was kind, hard working, and accommodating. She had a positive interaction with every person I watched her work with. Highly recommend this post office from my experience.
Worst post office. Live in a nice area but my PO is in the hood. Treat customers poorly. Understaffed.
Had an appointment to get my very first passport and everything went as smooth as could be. Thanks to C/Shevan I believe that was her name, just can't remember the spelling.. Anyways, she had an awesome attitude and very helpful!
Three times I tried to get my passport done. One I was told I need an appointment. 2 time I got in, I need birth certificate. 3rd time, it's not original! Why are you doing this to me?! What's next, you need my blood? My first born? A secret handshake? Some sacrifice to some deity? When are you going to let me have my passport?! Never?!

Pleasantly surprised that my call was answered within a few minutes! A package of mine has been bouncing around the country for some reason and the tracker then updated & said it was at the post office for pick up, even though no signature is needed. The woman who helped me found it in the system and said it had ended up on a route for the wrong zip code and then returned for pick up. She put me on hold for a bit and called my route carrier directly to ensure that it will be delivered later today. Yay! Only 3 stars here because I'm still grumpy 20+ years later at being kicked out of my post office downtown 2 miles from home and when I receive packages that need a signature, I have a 5 mile trek from home to the Post Office, or an 8 mile trek from work since the hours are during work time. When we were reassigned all those years ago, we didn't get to be assigned to the other Post Office just 2 miles away.
Carla helped my wife and I with our passports, we were unsure with a few of the questions, but Carla had all the answers and helped make the process very easy. Great employee!
