Vaco San Diego

I had a wonderful experience with Mallory from Vaco. She kept me in the loop when she heard back from the client and even got me a direct hire position. The process was very easy and I appreciate all the time and work she took to make sure I had what I needed starting from my phone interview, in person interview, and my first day. She even helped me secure a higher salary than what was originally offered from the employer which was great! I definitely recommend Vaco to anyone who is looking for advance their career in a new industry. Thank you, Mallory!

I applied for a job they'd posted online and was asked to come in to discuss the position. Was a little irritated that when I got there I was told the position had been filled, especially since I'd been asked to put on suit and tie and they were dressed in jeans. I didn't understand why they wanted to meet me if the job had been filled, but the recruiter explained they had other many other positions besides that one and I'd be a great fit for them. She said they couldn't submit me for those roles until we'd met face-to-face. I thought that made sense, so we discussed those jobs, she said she'd have some feedback on them within a week, and I went home thinking it hadn't been a complete waste of time. Fast-forward three months. The jobs she told me I was a perfect fit for all got "cancelled." I called in weekly for three months and Vaco never even got me an interview. I could see that if I were unemployable, but I have a MBA and eight years of experience in my field. I finally got a job on my own without their help. Vaco was a complete waste of time.
