Great fun for the whole family. They have a good gift shop with books, clothes, and toys, and the steam locomotives make you feel like you're back in the 1930s. Highly recommended!

Cute little railroad station. The restroom facilities are clean and adequate. Also there is a gift-shop with various valley railroad memorabilia.

Beautiful train, nice smooth ride! We saw the Pirate Show, which was definitely for kids, but enjoyable for adults.

If you want to take yourself or family on a great " AUTHENTIC STEAM POWERED TRAIN RIDE " then this is the place to go. No other tourist railroad in New England can hold a candle to " The Valley Railroad. " Check out their rebuilt New Haven Steam Locomotive #3025, it runs and pulls just about every train trip they offer. NOW THIS IS WHAT I CALL TAKING A OLD FASHIONED TRAIN RIDE.!!!!!! Thank You Valley Railroad for preserving the past for the future generations to enjoy and marvel at how far we have come as a nation and the important role that Steam locomotive powered railroads played in making our country so great. Steam train is really neat. Gift shop isn't that great. The boat ride you can do is cool too.
