Discriminatory Experience for Customers with Unique Needs. I recently had a disheartening experience at the Vans store on Galleria and Sunset in Henderson, Nevada. My boyfriend needs specific footwear due to a health condition, he has relied on Vans' mix-and-match policy for years due to needing two different sizes. However, during this recent visit, the manager Lily not only denied the existence of this policy but also refused to verify the information, despite confirmation from another store in the district. We’ve bought so many pairs of shoes here because he goes through them so quickly using this exact policy! The refusal to acknowledge a policy designed to assist customers with different experiences in life has me feeling like he has been completely discriminated against. The lack of empathy and unwillingness to communicate effectively not only tarnished my perception of the store but also highlighted a concerning gap in understanding the challenges faced by individuals with disabilities. This experience calls for attention to the need for improved training and awareness among management to ensure a more inclusive and respectful environment for customers who have different needs. This made an already difficult experience absolutely terrible. Lily, this man has a DISABILITY. He has two different sized feet to prove it! You cannot make that up. Overall Rating: 1/5
Love this store, staff is nice & friendly. Vans started doing a bunch of new promotions as well, I got a free portable charger that's shaped like a Sk8-Hi shoe because I believe I spent more than $100, and last time I got a flamingo pool floatie cause I spent over $100 as well, love this store.
Customer service was really nice. Everyone was super kind! The guy accidentally brought out the wrong color and immediately apologized and took it back for the right one. They didn't have my sisters size in the shoes she wanted it so we left but then we came back to try on a different shoe for her and the employee remembered that my sister had wanted that shoe but they didn't have her size and he actually managed to accidentally find her size and remembered and brang it back to us so that was super nice!
The products are good, but the sales-kids make it a bad experience. The girl was good though. But the guys are posers. They have no idea what they're selling. They kept trying to sell me the wrong items and refused to give me a refund on something I just bought and didn't need.. This place blows. Other options though.
Great customer service. Very helpful
Vans store always packed. Great options but too much of a crowd for me. Still love Van's but would definitely shop online.
Great customer service
Friendly and helpful staff, easily accessible through the Kohl's entrance
Excellent customer service!! I went in the other day to purchase a few pair of shoes for Christmas, they seemed to be almost overwhelmingly busy but the man had such patience and helped me along with a few other customers at the same time. I was highly impressed. I will be back.
Visiting from Wyoming, we don't have a Vans store so we decided to stop in and check it out. We were immediately greeted at the door by an associate who was super friendly. She asked if she could point us in the right direction and told us about their deals. We originally just went in to look, but I decided I wanted to try on a pair of shoes. AJ was helping another customer, but as soon as I picked up a pair of shoes, he found a break in helping them and came over to ask if he could help me find a size. He was very friendly, and even offered to lace the shoe I was trying on so I wouldn't have to. I was immediately sold. Went up to the register to pay while AJ chatted up my husband and almost sold him a board he didn't need. I like a good salesman. Dom helped us at the register and she was fantastic. She offered to lace up the other shoe I hadn't tried on and did so with a smile. I LOVED this store. My mom lives near by so I will definitely be returning. If you need ANYTHING from here, ask for AJ or Dom. You will not be disappointed.
