Nick did an amazing job assisting me today. I came in as sprint customer and his friendly demeanor and profession service in my time of need won me over. While sprint associates barely acknowledged me and my concern Nick helped me step by step even before knowing I would switch and then let me know exactly why verizon was better for me. I appreciate all of the help Nick and I hope everyone who cared about service sees this. You deserve a raise!
Nick took excellent care of me during my upgrade process. Explained everything thoroughly and transferred all of my old phone's contacts and photos to my new phone while I shopped around the mall. Will definitely do my next upgrade at this location
At the Towson, MD Verizon store on Delaney Valley Road a customer is greeted warmly and is treated with respect. The store is calm, serene , impeccably neat and delightfully comfortable with air conditioning on the 96 degree day I was there. My encounter with Ms. Nimota Akinbayo was one where she listened carefully and made recommendations, always keeping in mind my goals for upgrading and explaining options. She provided me with the best customer service that I have ever received while making a purchase. I had a number of questions as I was changing phone providers and she answered the questions directly . I never felt rushed and took the time needed for my purchase. She has a vast knowledge about the phones and advocated for me with Verizon so that I could benefit from promotions. I highly recommend this Verizon store as the training and knowledge by the Verizon associate and the focus on customer satisfaction and excellent products are a winning combination that customers receive.
Terrible experience!!. I later realized that I was charged activation fees for the HUM and charged for an extra line when I was told by the store manager, Kevin, that the HUM would be completely free and not to worry if I saw an extra phone number appear as I was not paying anything extra with the promotion. I was completely unaware that this is NOT a verizon store, but it is an authorized dealer. Because of this Verizon corporate is completely unable to help. Avoid this place at all costs. I live in Charlotte, NC and was simply visiting Towson when I decided to get my new phone. After explaining the situation to Verizon Customer Service they said I had to return the device back to this authorized dealer as they could not be the ones to take it back. Due to me living so far away, I added my mother in law as an authorized user and had to pay for the device to be fed ex’d back to her so she could return it. Being that it was within the 14 day period she tried to return it and Kevin refused to complete the return. Kevin explained to myself on the phone and my mother in law in person that the District manager won't be able to do anything and would not provide me his number upon one request multiple times. To make matters worse, Kevin also switched my entire phone plan without my knowledge and Verizon customer service had to switch it back. He also said that everything was explained to me at the store. WHICH IS A LIE!! These are con artists and they use deceptive sales tactics. The fees were not explained and they even wrote down everything that I would save!! I still have the paper as proof. Save yourself the headache and go to a regular verizon store. Verizon customer service is completely unable to help because it is an indirect dealer. I tried to contact the district manager and no response. I am unhappy and have been taken advantage of.
Terrible experience here. I later realized that I was charged activation fees for a SIM card when Verizon customer service says that they are free at any verizon store. This is NOT a verizon store it is an authorized dealer. Avoid this place at all costs. I was later explained the fee was for "setting up the phone" basically logging into Icloud which I did myself anyways. I was looped into the buy one get one free deal which also wasn't explained well and the phones not actually free at all, i have to keep it for 2 years for it to be free. The manager explained to me and other customers that the District manager won't be able to do anything so there's no point in contacting him. I also had to get an entire new plan with a new number because the employee failed to look at the account and see that the deal wasn't approved for our current account. On top of that I don't like the new phone and wanted to return it and just get my old phone back. If I return the phone I have to pay them 50 dollars and all i would get back would be the taxes. They are getting back a 750 dollar phone and all I would get back is 30 dollars after paying the return fee. This makes no sense. I said ok work with me, I'll pay the return fee but I would appreciate a discount on my old phone that I would essentially have to rebuy at full price. I asked kindly to give 200 dollars off and the employee said that's "too much" - yeah too much money for a BILLION DOLLAR CORPORATION. He also said that everything was explained to me up front. NO, LIES. The fees weren't explained until after I swiped my card. When we were buying the phones the manager said oh we can create deals here and give you offers no one else can and then when I tried to return the phone all of a sudden deals and special offers aren't allowed anymore? This place sucks. Go to a regular verizon store. BUYER BEWARE. Seriously Verizon customer service can't help because it is a dealer. I tried to contact the district manager and regional manager and no response. Will most likely be laving Verizon very soon because of this incident.
My wife's phone died and we went to get this kiosk after best buy mobile was unable to help us because of having little in stock. Joe was remarkably discounteous to myself and my wife as soon as we walked up to the kiosk. He was curt and seemed agitated that we were even there. We acknowledged that there would be a fee to pay off the rest of the phone. Then he notified us that there would be an upgrade fee of 30 dollars even though the Verizon website stated it would be 20 and at every question we had his response was "so you want to do this somewhere else? I can stop now" and later even pointed at my wife and said "I've had it with you" So we paid off the remainder of the broken phone, and was told we had to pay the new charges separately. And then he tells us we actually owe 66 dollars because of taxes. He then continued to argue about whether or not he even told us there would be taxes he didn't. This was easily the worst retail experience I've ever had anywhere. Save time and money and stay away from here.
Kevin and Paul were very helpful and patient and I never felt pressured or rushed. They answered my five million questions and gave good advice. Don't usually like dealing with people at kiosks but this was a great experience. Thanks guys!
Jeff and James are awesome!! They were so accommodating and made sure I got taken care of. They went above and beyond and I couldn’t be more thankful for their patience! They made a terrible day turn into a great one!
It was a great experience, Patel helped me from the beginning till the end. He even go beyond even after i forget my receipt he is very kind enough to send me my copy. So thank you and i will surely come back to do business again.
I had an amazing experience ! Nick and James were great and so helpful and patient. They answered all my questions and I felt confident with my choice .I highly recommend going to this kiosk - it went quickly and I walked out with my new phone - no complications or anything time consuming.
