I can't think of something more dreadful than going to the Verizon store to update my wireless plan and phone, BUT this trip was actually fun and enjoyable. V was AWESOME. He explained everything, was easy to work with, very attentive to my questions and what was best for my needs out of my plan. If you are a Verizon user - go to this store over any other. And if you aren't on Verizon, you should be. Better is better!
I ended up at this Verizon store while on vacation when my phone went swimming, so I was not in a very excited place to be phone shopping. We went to this location because it was between our hotel and where we were supposed to end up for brunch all along the Red Line and because the Google reviews were positive, especially about an employee named V. We got there right when it opened on a Sunday and lucky for us V was working. He was kind, fast, and didn't mess around trying to upsell me on anything. He looked through the options I had insurance vs. buying out plan and upgrading right there to make sure I had the best deal and knew what my choices were. We were in and out in an hour with a new phone including case and screen protector, I am happy to buy the extras if the sales folks aren't pushy and V. wasn't and instructions to try and sync my old phone, he didn't make us wait around the store to do the data transfer. I strongly recommend if you are a local or just passing, through the Verizon store in Beacon Hill. V is a superb employee, as was the other gentleman who was there but I didn't catch his name!
Be careful if they offer you a free tablet. I asked the correct questions because I didn't want any extra set up or monthly charges. I got slammed with a 180$ bill that had set up, access and monthly device fees. Thankfully I got my bill within the 14 day window that I can return it. Salesman had no idea what he was talking about or lied!
Don't waste your time at this store! I asked for insurance to be removed from my phone twice and instead they added insurance to all lines on my plan, resulting in an erroneous charge of almost $100--after visiting their store twice about this same issue. Note that this is an authorized retailer, not an actual Verizon store. I'd take your business to an actual store, like the real Verizon store in Harvard Square where they immediately figured out the issue and rectified it appropriately.
I'm in the category of the tech illiterate old guy. For several months I've been driven to distraction by overage charges for usage. I finally went to the store where I had signed up for the Verizon plan. In minutes Stavros looked up my info and figured out the problem. He put me into a different plan for unlimited usage , which started by dropping charges already accrued for the current month. Within max ten minutes I was out of the store and happy. So much better than dealing with a so-called customer service call center. Thank you Stavros.
I saw Jerod at Verizon and he was very professional, friendly and efficient in providing excellent service when I signed up for a new plan with anew iPhone. He transferred my data and ordered a new case for me. I'm not at all technologically oriented and he treated me respectfully.
Went to this location around 5pm today expecting a large volume of customers. To my surprise it was empty. I was greeted by a gentleman name Eric and a Gentleman name V I'm sure its spelled a different way. V was incredible in finding the best deal for me while finding me a suitable phone to replace my broken one. Best in-store Verizon experience of my life. These two guys are not only excellent at what they do they are also real great guys.
I have never been to this store, but I had an issue with my phone so I called to schedule an appointment to come in expecting that I would need to get a new phone. After asking a few questions during our call, Gilbert was very helpful in "diagnosing" my issue and determined it was because of the version my phone was on. So friendly and supportive! If I have any issues, I'll be happy to come in to get additional help.
I was paying too much for my daughter's and my plan and phones! Matt got everything straightened out for me! He was so helpful and I'm going back there Cambridge st Verizon for my new phones! Thanks Matt, no one from Verizon has ever taken the time to help me!
Terrible experience !!! Upgraded my phone, but sales rep Cristal connected my new device to a different phone number. Did not realize it until I was far from the store and called my parents. The caller ID on their phone showed up a wrong name and number. Meanwhile the other person whose number was programmed into my new phone lost her phone connection. I had to spend at least 30 minutes on the phone with Verizon to straighten this mess out, was told that both phones needed to be powered off and powered back on for the fix to work. I was able to get my number back, but have no way to contact the other girl to tell her what to do. Feel bad for her. Very unprofessional!!
