Vertical World Seattle

Great climbing gym! There's a bit of bouldering but a ton of top rope and lead climbing options on some excellent 40 and 50 foot walls. Staff was friendly and helpful and there was a decent amount of parking across the street. It's a big gym though, with a nice looking workout facility upstairs, so I suspect it could get crowded at times.

Awesome routes! Great hours! High walls! If you don't mind walking there does seem to be parking around even on busy nights. Friday nights are surprisingly slow, a good time to go. For beginners: make sure to take their beginners class where they teach you belay and top rope etc. You must be certified by the gym in order to use the auto belay out belay your friend. For experienced climbers with ample climbing friends this is less of an issue, but for beginners, understand this could be a commitment... and it's worth it! Rock climbing has changed my life!

Local 360 has become one of my favorite places with their pitcher mismosas! Waid is the best waiter! He has great energy and always got us what we needed. We will definitely be back again.

Nice long lead wall. Employees are friendly enough. Routes everywhere stay up for 3 months on average which is at least a month too long. They finally began including classes in their membership price to compete with Seattle Bouldering Project but sadly offer little for the after 6pm crowd.

The best rope climbing gym in Seattle, hands down. Great routes, friendly staff and a world class facility. Great for both rope guns and novice climbers.
