One of the best meals I've ever had. The oldest restaurant in south carolina and I'm just getting there for the first time, better late than never. Can't wait to get back. Service was outstanding and the staff helped with the right selection of food and cocktails. I had the steak special tonight and it cut like butter. Highly recommend. Get there if you can and you won't be disappointed.
Took my parents here this evening and it was wonderful! This was their first date 35 years ago. The food is always to die for and the server Matthew had the best service around. Will be back again soon!
Absolutely incredible, everything was such an incredible experience, the staff, the food, the atmosphere. The key lime cheesecake was literaly the cherry on top of the best itialian dining experience in Columbia
Originally was going to go to Di Vino Rosso but upon arrival was treated like my husband and myself were not welcomed. The hostess told us they were booked, which is acceptable but when I asked about sitting at the "first come first serve bar", I was told either we would have to sit apart or there was no other option. When I asked if we could wait I was told no because, " everyone at the bar had just sat down",. Fast forward we drove to Villa Tronco, walked in and we were treated like family. The food is amazing too. Will come back here anytime I need authentic Italian. And super cool fact this is the oldest restaurant in Columbia. Parking: Free parking
We just celebrated my birthday here and it was the best meal we’ve had in SC to date, and we’ve lived here 13 years. We had the chicken piccata, linguini and clams, ravioli, and pizza. We are third generation Italian and often are disappointed in Italian restaurants, but this experience was amazing. When we go out to eat, we want it to be better than homemade and they did not disappoint. The restaurant was immaculate for the oldest restaurant in SC. Finally, you don’t get hospitality like what we experienced here. If I could give it ten s, I would.
We stopped by on a whim as we were driving by. Such a wonderful surprise. We were seated outside which was fine since we did not have a reservation. All staff members were lovely. Our server Nikki was friendly and helpful. Best mussels and fried oysters in Columbia! The Italian egg drop soup brought back childhood memories. The rolls were delicious. We will return for dinner with reservations soon.

Customer Service was fantastic. The food...below average. Fried mozzarella arrived to our table quickly, but was cold. Salad was overdressed and soggy. The 3 meatballs with my pasta were under seasoned and over cooked. That pasta was cold and unseasoned. Cocktail was too sweet and didn't taste like the description at all. The portions are small as well. I won't return and won't recommend to friends.
OMG it's the best place ever for Italian food in Columbia. We have been going there for years and I recommend it to everybody
Columbia’s oldest restaurant, and one of the best for Italian food. Keep an eye out for their special event nights where local singers will entertain you during your meal.
