Boomers Deli and Grill

This little restaurant tucked away in a medical complex has the best Chicken Philly I've had in Columbia. I know there's not much to 1 and theirs is just a tad light on the peppers and onions, that why not a 5 for me, but they do a very good job at it. Well seasoned, browned, not burnt. I wish I could say that you can just pop in and grab one and get back in the race but, the only way I've been there less than 30 minutes was to call ahead. Is it worth the wait?? I keep coming back, so to me and the folks I've brought there we agree; yes. Give em a try. Come in, order sit down in there quite little place get a nice little brake for the rat race. Get the Chicken Philly, all the way with mayo

This off the beaten path place is a little gem in Columbia. Never would think the best chicken Philly around is in a hospital building diner. All the food is fantastic. Great salads, pastas, and sandwiches. The Chicken Philly is legend level.

This place is very convenient when you work at the hospital and don't want to go to the cafeteria. I really love the chicken gyro, the pizza and calzones aren't bad either. Always super busy during lunch, depending on the time of day you can get in and out quickly.

Delicious food! We ate here waiting for my son's dr appt. I will definitely be back!

This place has been a part of my family for 20 years. My kids say they want hospital pizza and I know exactly where to go. The crust and sauce and blend of cheeses makes the prefect pizza. I highly recommend Boomers to anyone and everyone. Love this family more than they will ever know. Stay blessed and chosen.

Their food is good but when you order and they tell you 20 minutes, don't believe it! Every time I order, they say 20 minutes and then when I get there I'm always waiting an additional 30 minutes. They didn't even put my order in until I showed up to pick it up. Very unprofessional and rude.

This is hands down the worst place I have ever eaten at. The food is below average and the service is terrible. The owner runs a chaotic place and screams at his employees, treating them like animals. Today, I walked in against my better judgment to order a Greek salad to go. 15 min later of sitting and waiting, I went to ask if my salad was ready. The worker answered "I thought you left" I had been waiting in front of the desk the whole time. Then, the owner proceeded to scream " HE THOUGHT YOU LEFT!!!" So, if you want below average food for about $12 per meal, awful customer service, and to be yelled at by an obnoxious, offensive, and likely mentally unstable owner, go to Boomers! I have no idea how this place is still in business.

HORRIBLE SERVICE. Do not patronize this business. The owner/manager is obnoxious, rude and curses at customers when they make mistakes. The owner not only disrespects the customers who are supporting his business, he also disrespects the people who work at his business. The most rude, inconsiderate, angry, hostile business owner I've ever encounter. Please DO NOT support his business. The food maybe good but he doesn't care about his workers nor customers. Oh, don't sit in his furniture. It's just like the owner... Horrible and broken down. He gets no stars but I had to choose one star to post.. Actually deserves a NEGATIVE rating.

Absolutely the worst food and service I've had in my entire life. I wouldn't send my worst enemy there. Worker at the register was rude, unprofessional and a completely terrible person. Food took 30 minutes to cook when all I had was a meat ball sub and was definitely not worth the wait. Only gave a star so I could leave a review
