Village Podiatry Center of Brainerd: Dr. Sam Bazrafshan

First off, Dr. Gupta is great. I would quickly recommend her without hesitation nor second thought. She is always pleasant as well as efficient, which is a tough combination to find. Second, the office staff are also great. It seems to be normal practice for doctor offices to rip any hint of customer service from every employee, but these girls are a complete contradiction to that trend! Jennifer & Paige are always very helpful and always happy to be so helpful! It’s a pleasure working with them. I’d rather not have anyone from the Atlanta office call me and I’d rather not talk to them when I’m trying to reach the East Brainerd Office in Chattanooga, but I can’t hold it against this office because everyone is so incredible!

The wait was pretty long. Unfortunately, he did not seem to know what was going on with my ankles. X-rays had to be repeated because the assistants had not received the doctor's guidance before taking the X-rays. Ultimately, I requested he give me some insoles, as OTC arch supports insoles have helped me in the past. These new insoles, which I paid for out of pocket, seemed to help. Later, my insurance company was billed for "foot care," though I had not received any treatment. And because the wrong diagnosis code was used, they refused to pay. Disappointing experience overall. I still have frequent ankle pain.

The doctor is awesome and very knowledgeable also makes sure you're comfortable with over and above bedside manner, also takes the time to explain exactly what is going on....very nice doctor
