Gifted a bag in 2007 and zipper broke in 2022. They repaired it under lifetime warranty and are good folks. Great product. The best. I’m blown away.

$95 for a belt that's twice the quality of a belt you get for 60 at a retailer. It's a pretty good deal! Friendly owners. Fast enough service. I'll be back for a custom bag next time.

The place is worth a visit for the smell alone. I needed to add a belt to a wonderful buckle I had and found a whole new world of quality at the Village Tannery. The belt was supple, double-sided, and beautiful and the service matched the quality.

Great service, reasonable prices. Stopped in to buy a bag, and they were more than accommodating with what I needed and showed me several possibilities of what I could purchase. I went with a medium sized Messenger type of bag, they are going to put a closure on it free of charge, and I will pick it up tomorrow.

I spoke with the owner Memo before I purchased a bag for my brother in law and he explained to me why their are no prices online. Every bag is made to order and is bespoke in that regard as well. After speaking with him and telling him my price range, he told me of all my options and what could be done in extreme detail. I got a bag for my new baby that is coming soon. I looked at all kinds of brand name bags and they were all overpriced. I saw VT's beautiful backpack and had to have it! I called and was able to speak to TJ and he showed me the bags in store happily on video. I got the tan colored Lou Lou. What a gorgeous bag! I also had them make one for my mom in another design in red. The other man that was there was also very friendly and helpful. The price was a bit high but worth it for something that will last a really long time, hand made by a leathermaker and also beautiful. If you can afford LV and all those expensive bags check them out. They are a great small business and will give you exactly what you need. They have also been in business for more than 30 years. I bought the large backpack Lulu one pocket, medium in 2016. It was pricier than most backpacks you find online, but completely worthwhile. It is made of very sturdy cow leather, looks great, and has been my companion for over 3 years. Great for groceries, beverage bottles, travel or the laptop. And should a stitching ever get loose, the Village Tannery team fix it for free. I highly recommend them and their leather products.
