By FAR the best optometrist I’ve been to! She is very experienced, patient, knowledgeable and distinguished. The staff is AMAZING. They treat you like family as soon as you walk in the door. The service is VERY FAST! They quickly make the glasses you need! If you need an eye doctor this is the place to go!

I i just started going here last year and I cannot stress enough how i had an absolutely wonderful experience! From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with such warmth and kindness, not only by the doctor but also by the receptionist, Glen. It's rare to find such genuine and caring professionals who make you feel completely at ease. What stood out to me the most, besides their exceptional customer service, was their impressive ability to make glasses on the same day. It's incredibly convenient and shows how much they value their patients' time and needs. The level of attention and expertise provided here is unmatched. They even helped me pick a frame!! I cannot recommend Vision of the South Eye Center enough. If you're looking for top-notch eye care with a personal touch, this is the place to go. Their commitment to patient satisfaction is evident in everything they do, making each visit a pleasant and fulfilling experience.

Super professional service ! My glasses came in within a few days which was earlier than the expected time frame that I was given. I will definitely recommend Vision Center of the South to my family as well as my friends.

My experience here was a hit and miss. First, when I called, the lady was constantly speaking over me. Customer service is the only reason they are getting one star. When you don’t keep the patient or client first, nothing else matters. Regardless of the service you provide

Do NOT go here if you are on medicaid. Will not disclose extra fees before hand and will lie to your face and tell you they did. They charged me $175 for me to put contacts in my own eyes to see if the prescription was correct without saying a word about a fee let alone the cost. Go anywhere else. Should be reported for fraud. Never experienced this with another provider in Louisiana.

The eye doctor was amazing! Such a sweetheart. They covered my frames for me so I owed nothing with my insurance. I will definitely be returning for my yearly exam!!

I been dealing with Vision Center since forever I love this place my the eye doctor that works there has always been doctor my eye doctor, I started out years ago when I was young at Walmart and she was my eye doctor there also. All I'm saying is Vision Center on Canal Street in New Orleans Louisiana is number one best eye doctor and service ever "ya heard me"and on top of that, you get your glasses the same Day!!!!! I mean it it literally takes a few minutes right after you get your eye exam. You get to pick your glasses and go home with them if that ain't awesome and the best then, I don't know what to say, I just love it she's the best eye doctor ever you get the best service ever I just love everything about Vision Center

Absolutely great place. Dr. Borne is brilliant and incredibly nice. She gave me a free pair of contacts and everything else that I needed for them. On top of letting me get glasses that weren't on my medicaid plan.. which is an incredible thing to do. Very fast service. In and out in 20 minutes with great glasses. Thank you so much dr. Borne.
