I’ve given the last chance to these guys. After a pharmacist there filled my prescription under my husbands name and then continuously lied and tried to blame the provider whom my husband has never seen for giving them the wrong info. He wouldn’t let me pick it up either. Now I did a pickup order and went to pick it up and they had closed at 3pm 2 days in a row. I called both shifts and let them know I was going to get it the next day. Well I pulled up the next morning and they already cancelled the order after they said no worries they would hold it. Done. So done
This is going to be my new location for pharmacy needs as well as photos printing as it is conveniently located just down the street and around the bend from me now that I have moved to what appears to be a lovelier side of the city than where I moved from. I uploaded a few pictures for this review and there is a nice safe handicapped parking located right up front and a spot to park for curbside pick-ups for online ordered. HOW conveniently CONVENIENT. I have stopped here a few times recently to get envelopes and I like the store better than the bigger location downtown. Too much stuff there. Feels like I'm at Wal-Mart. I feel bad for the pharmacy staff. Walgreens appears to have a very high turn over in the pharmacy, in so many cases my prescriptions are not in stock, or have been ordered and not shown up etc… When you call you will often be on hold forever just for someone to hang up on you. As I result I often go in and waste my time waiting in line just to talk with someone and not get my medications. I’m switching pharmacies. Sorry Walgreens. Corporate needs to get things running properly!
Worst Walgreens in town. They wouldn’t take my prescription I had to get another copy. Come back and wait for my prescription they which they know I was waiting for for them to just close and go on break. Absolutely ridiculous last time I will be using this location please avoid it like the plague. Only competent staff member there is Lorene!
Been using Walgreens forever, everywhere else that I have lived. Michigan, Tennessee, North Carolina, and Florida. The store on W Dimond is by far the worst. I have had to go to other locations for things four times now. Diabetic supplies, no less, not like that stuff isn't important or anything. Constantly short staffed, and the staff they do have sucks. Don't bother with the pharmacy there unless you enjoy being aggravated. And forget about calling them. Use the one on Brandon or 88th, both of those stores are much better.
Tried calling to get some assistance with a prescription in their system. Not only did the worker not speak clearly through the phone, she also couldn’t find my info in the system even though I had their website confirmation pulled up on my phone. She then told me there was no way she could help me because the pharmacy my prescription was at was all that could help me. I told her they weren’t picking up which I said in the beginning of my call twice to which she said “I’m going to transfer you” and transferred me instead of helping me. The other location of course didn’t answer. Like I knew they wouldn’t. Don’t bother with Walgreens. All of the locations in anchorage don’t care about their customers
Hours change at random. Why does walgreens just close down mid day?
Ordered a few photo magnets last night online for a gift. Got a call this morning that they cannot fill my order because they are out of 4x6 printer paper……the manager should run to Office Depot or staples and pick some up until yours arrives or borrow from another Walgreens location. Just saying. I was told I need to resubmit my order to a different Walgreens. Why don’t you update your website and state that you can’t fill these orders? How do I know the other Walgreens have the paper? Now I have to rush to get these done in time. I know, first world problems. Not a huge deal but a slight inconvenience because of poor management.
Pharmacy closes again without notice on a Wednesday! Prescriptions are locked up and can not get. If you have important prescriptions, do not use the Dimond store! It is really bad with unapologetic staff and poor business practices.
Worst and least professional pharmacy probably in the entire state. Going to move my pharmacy provider imidiatly and I recommend everyone else does the same. I had to call twice to remind them to even refill my prescription. I was reassured It would be ready Friday 3 days after my call so I called again Friday morning and they promised me it would be ready by 4. At 415 I'm told I'll have to wait even longer after I've already waited in line and realigned my schedule to be there before they close at 6. They will be closed all weekend and I'll be unable to perform my obligation to travel for work on Monday because of them.
