Always good for all your needs. Super Store. Don't get lost. Everything is in here somewhere. Parking here as well. Right across the road from Ala Moana Shopping centre. And Sam's Club is right next door! You must be a Club member to get in.
Loads of products and some amazingly low prices. For tourists, come here to get all your souvenirs and gifts for people back at home. You'll save a fortune compared to abc stores. They're super strict on bag checks so think twice about trying to get a 5-finger discount from these guys.
Great place to grab your extras for a lot cheaper if you're just visiting/on vacation. We stocked up on sunscreen, fins, and car snacks and drinks. The store is over 2 floors and they even have a cart escalator! Btw they have an awesome selection of Asian and local snacks, which is the BEST!
This Walmart was further than I anticipated in Hawaii, not one I would suggest walking too. In fact to my surprise, it's on the second level of the same building as Sam's Club. So when you drive into the lot, everything is about Sam's Club, but you have to take the elevator to the next floor. Note: No backpacks allowed...well if the bag is exceptionally large, the associate will ask you to put it in a locker, that conveniently located at the entrance. Of course purses appear to be optional. A police officer is at the door to be an enforcer if there are problems. Plenty of signs encouraging one to not steal. Anyway, the staff throughout the store was friendly. I even got an associate to tell me how good the Hawaiian coffee was, but when asked if he drank coffee, he smiled and came clean. He was not a coffee Drinker, he only drank Jack Daniels...go figure right. All in all, it was a fantastic stop. It got me out of the car while my wife was shopping. Shopping Tip of the Day: Don't buy gifts in the stores near your hotel, venture out, and fine some really fantastic deals Read and Follow...greatly appreciate it. Enjoy life God is Good- All the time.
We just arrived in Hawaii today & we went to get some bottled water for coffee & drinking along with a few snacks. I was very surprised at some of the prices, such as Great value bread @$3.24 a loaf. Back home it's $.90 a loaf. I know we're in the middle of the Pacific, so I guess it's reasonably priced. Now, let's enjoy Hawaii & the food and the nice people.
The cleanest Walmart I have ever seen. Like all Walmart , the parking is strange and chaotic. This location has a souvenir section which is good for tourists. You can get coffee, salt, trinkets, baked goods to cups. Plenty of Li-hing snacks. You have to pay at the "souvenir section ".
Walmart is always a great store to shop at only problem is figuring out the different locations configurations. But that's not a big deal. This location is really busy but still very clean and organized unlike the Ala Moana Location.
We love it! We're from Arkansas so a Walmart/Sam's in the same location is cool and a parking garage wow! Security boxes on spam is weird price of produce is crazy!
If you have read my reviews, you know I love WalMart. This is a great place for gifts, and they are priced right. The kicker is that Sam's Club is on the 3rd floor! Yes, OMG! It's about one block from the Ala Moana Mall, the trolley stop and the food court.
Hands down the biggest Walmart as far as size, but right on par with every other location on the island in that their merchandise or lack thereof leaves a lot to be desired.
