Cheap groceries but long waiting lines at the checkout desks. A long walk if you have no clue where what is. And the use of plastic bags is outrageous. That must be changed!
Customer service was lacking. Didn't see any associate to ask questions but the security lady came over in my area to watch. I was in a hurry and was in need to buy personal items to prepare for a long stay in town due to a family emergency that I was running to go and help. So, I understand but I needed help to get out quicker not judged. It was not organized and it was crowded with items everywhere that's why I couldn't find what I needed.
I found everything I needed without a hassle. There was an associate stocking spices. He saw a young woman looking for a spice and asked if he could help her. Long story short, she was shopping for her mother and didn't remember. The associate asked her to call her mother and he spoke with her to try and find it for them. I have never in a walmart ever seen anything like this and when she was done, he politely told her to have a great day and Happy Thanksgiving. He then turned his attention to me and helped me find what I was looking for. Above and beyond. The best customer service I have seen in forever!!!!! I wish I could remember his name. The date was 11/22/22 between 3p and 4p. He was exceptional.
The reason for this review is due to a wonderful customer service rep, I believe her name is low Lo. She was extremely helpful, patient, and professional. During the entire time that customers started to pile up,my fault she kept a very calm and positive.
Hey, it’s Walmart. Even though there have been supply issues for the last year or so, we get most of our stuff here. The associates are always such nice people. Here and at the Valleydale store, anyway, the associates are helpful and kind. I appreciate them!
This is why I will continue to go to Publix for my grocery run. There was no one in the register to check us out so with our full cart of groceries, we had to do self checkout which took alot of time. The employee at self check out was so rude with my dad who could not speak english. When my dad started coughing he sprayed lysol all around us.
It's walmart. Supercenter...so you can pretty much get most things for a good price. They have an auto center and garden center, a bank...money transfer...optician. area is clean and safe.
The Walmart on Hwy 280 in Birmingham was very neat and tidy. We were able to find a lot of gifts. I wish this Walmart was closer to me. The Walmart I use on John Hawkins Pkwy in Hoover is a mess. Always low on merchandise and shelves disorganized.
This Walmart keeps pallets blocking most of the walkways normally.
The Auto department here is great. Closing time for them, car in front, took me and another customer. Patched my tire. Thank you!...today 9/6/19 they told me they were not taking any more cars at 6 so I'm changing my own tire but they let me use the hose and told me where the pressure was on the inside panel or my door. They were busy ... That's them taking a car... 9/7/19 2:20pm came back today and they are not taking cars again and tires still losing air.
