Walpole Mountain View Winery

The setting of this winery is unlike any I've ever visited before! It sits on a hillside looking out over the valley, which gives you an incredible vista of rolling New Hampshire hills with strong Vermont mountain peaks in the distance. The grapes are grown on-site, and the wine is made right underneath the tasting room which provides you with a magnificent view as you sip and snack on crackers and cheese. We brought a couple friends with us to do a tasting and wound up meeting the Vintner who gave us the whole tour, it was so cool! Virginia was so friendly and knowledgeable, answering all our questions and making us feel right at home. This was the perfect setting for a relaxing ( and delicious!) day at the winery. Thanks so much, we'll definitely be back!

This was the best winery experience we have had. Not only was the gentleman assisting us helpful, but also knowledgeable. Impressive grounds. Beautifully video to give history of winery and steps involved in their estate wine making. And the wine was delicious. Five dollars gets you six tastings and etched wine glass. Stemmed or without. We will definitely be back!
