Walpole Music Studio

Great music store in Walpole center. My brother and sister bought me a nylon string classical guitar as a gift. The guitar is an Ortega R122 full size "student" guitar that comes with nice soft case to protect it. To keep this review short I will just say that I am completely blown away by the quality of this guitar. It is an inexpensive guitar that has an incredible sound and feels great. The guys at Walpole Music know how to find great inexpensive guitars, set them up and present them to their customers. I have been playing guitar for more than 30 years and feel that this Ortega R122 is a fantastic instrument and is of such great value I find it hard to believe that it cost less that 250 bucks out the door. I have played the cheapest 50 dollar guitars to the finest hand made 7500 dollar classical and flamenco guitars from Germany and Spain. This Ortega is a great guitar and is fun to play. Twenty years ago I would not have believed I would ever write such words of praise for such a "cheap" guitar. If you are looking for a great cheap starter guitar in the classical style this a great model to check out. Great music store, great stock and great guys working at Walpole Music.
