Wasabi Sushi Bar St Charles

Sushi roll was good. A little pricey but not much more than any other sushi place in the area. Really nice and quiet interior. Decent selection of local beers. I would go back here.

Tasty sushi and decent prices. We went on a Tuesday and a large selection of rolls were $6. Service was good and there is a nice patio for outside dining.

Took a friend for her birthday! We went at lunch time. There was not a huge crowd, the server was super friendly, and she even let us try the soups before picking one, since we didn't know which ones to get! The lunch special prices were decent, and my friend love the sushi! I got the beef teriyaki. It was a little over cooked for my taste, but still totally delicious! My friend got the Miso soup and I got the gyoza soup both were very good. They even brought her out of piece of cheesecake to celebrate her birthday! I would definitely suggest this and plan to go back.

The service rocks! Crowded when we arrived. Waited less than 5 minutes for a table for two. Told the waiter we had tickets to a movie in 30 minutes. He took our drink and appetizer order and had it out in 10 minutes. 5 minutes later our sushi arrived. Paid our bill and left in time before our movie. The sushi was good, but the menu options are crappy. I don't want the chef to decide which sashimi I get. You know they will just send what they are trying to get rid of. We ordered a special roll instead.

Our first experience here was awesome. Great food, great service. That was a couple of years ago. We went recently and were made to wait for a table for 20 minutes even though the place had plenty of empty tables. Once we were finally seated, we were surrounded by un-bussed, dirty tables. Our waitress took her time asking if we wanted anything to drink. Actually, she said, "Just water is ok, right?" Well, no. We wanted cocktails. It took her 10 more minutes to bring us a cocktail menu. When she finally came to get our drink order, 5 minutes LATER, she reeked of smoke. Like a 5 day old dirty ashtray. We left and went somewhere close, where the service was great and so were the tacos.
