I arrived at 9:30am and was seen at 2:30pm. You have to be prepared to wait a long time to get seen. It's not the most comfortable or inviting building to wait in for half a day. However, once I was seen, the staff member working my case was kind, helpful, and clearly dedicated to assisting me, although I'm sure it had been a long day for her as well. In the next cubicle over, I heard another customer talking about how she had been sent away yesterday because they were at capacity, and she was almost sent away today when a staff member recognized her and said "not her, I told her to come back today, we'll help her today." I believe all the people who left negative reviews of this office had genuinely frustrating experiences, but I also believe there are sincere, helpful people doing their best here.

Medicaid period is the worst place. Can't wait to find me a job, the offer insurance. I hate come to this place getto people rude. they need to fire everybody there. Ones they start doing that. Things would change.

I have been there several times for the same issue and they do not address and solve the medicaid of my children; which must be approved because they qualify. They said is approved but some codes need to entered in their system and I have spoke to Mr. Shaneeko, the case worker, but he does not solve the issue. He keeps giving me the run-arounds. I have waited 45 minutes for them to answer the phone and when a lady answered, she did not waited to hear my issue and put me on hold and never returned to the my phone call. What's going? why they are no held accountable to perform their tasks satisfactorily? Is it the DHS policy to discourage people from applying for their children's Medicaid or Is it discrimination against Hispanics?

I have been there several times for the same reason. The only way I was able to get the right help was to bring my case worker. The staff is unprofessional from their appearance to their attitudes. The made up security officers are the worst. This is a government agency and it operates like a back alley pool hall where people don't care about how your treated. There's no one to complain to... do not even waste your time asking for a supervisor to them it's a joke... To keep it real none of those agencies care about you they are just there for the benefits and a pay check. I wish I didn't have to go there if I could work believe me they would never see my face... it's so bad before I go there I have to take my dont kill nobody drugs... lol

The left hand doesn't know what the right hand is doing.the whole staff needs to be retrained, and continually updated on changes. Their lack of knowledge causes grave consequences for clients, such as wrong applications, hours that amount to days waiting for the correct answer.
