If I could give this location 0 stars I would! For the past 2 months their equipment has not been working. I was told that they would soon replace their bench press machine and it took them literally 2 months to even do that. On top of that their automated system charges you late fees after 24hours. I was told by the attendant at the front that they charge a late fee after the 5th of the month. I cancelled my membership at the beginning of the month and to this day I am still getting charged for my dues and annual fee. When I called to ask about a refund I was told they do not give refunds and I would be wasting my time if i even tried. I have contacted corporate and I'm hoping to get this issue resolved. Your better off joining Gold's Gym and paying the same price for all locations. Highly disappointed with my experience at this Location!

I have to weigh in against the complaints about cancelling memberships. I needed to cancel mine, slightly outside of the guidelines of the official policy. The manager worked with me and was accommodating. The gym is alright and for the price and location you can get a really good deal if you catch them on a special.

Gallery Place is a really convenient location. They are a no frills gym with clean showers and good classes. I particularly love their evening cycle classes and evening yoga class. I had an issue with my membership and everyone was really helpful and were really responsive. The staff are really nice as well.

Had a terrible experience with this gym. My personal trainer and management were extremely hard to reach and not flexible. My personal trainer quit half way through my sessions and I never had a new trainer established, ended up paying for almost 9 sessions I never used. Management was far from helpful or understanding. Will never join a Washington Sports Club after this experience.

Edit - WSC has reached out to me and refunded me for the overcharge. I appreciate their time and attention on this matter. They have addressed my concern and so I am satisfied with their services. Original Posting - Just don't do it, it's not worth saving the money no matter how inexpensive the monthly membership fee is. They make it nearly impossible to cancel. I cancelled according to their policy and subsequently was charged an annual fee for the following year with an effective date after my cancellation date notice. The manager is rude and will not help you. There is no phone number to reach customer service or member services so I'm having to reach out to my bank to ensure no future unauthorized charges are made in my cancelled membership. I am willing to pay prorated monthly fees and cancellation fees because those are written into the contract but at what point does WSC think its acceptable to charge an annual fee after a cancellation notice was provided when I was never made aware of an annual fee in the first place and the annual fee covers a time period completely after my membership cancellation. It'd be one thing if I could speak to someone to resolve this but because the management and corporate are unresponsive and uncooperative I cannot recommend this club to anyone. Be wary of their membership charges and auto pay and the manager when you have to deal with her on the first two issues. It's unfortunate because the class instructors are great and I had no issues with the club...until of course I wanted to cancel.

As expected, terrible customer service with regards to membership. Cancelled my membership in person, with over a 30 day notice, twice. Had my credit card, which was tied to the auto paid, lost. Yet, they have managed to obtain my new credit card number, without my permission, and charged me. I shall be disputing these charges as fraud charges and perhaps identity theft. Not sure what they did to obtain my credit card number without my knowing. Both representatives instantly turned rude upon acknowledging that I was attempting to cancel my membership. Neither had any accurate information. One said I needed 45 notice to cancel. The other then said 30 days notice. Cancellation information on my account advises neither timeframe mentioned. This place will not disappoint if one wishes to live through the nightmare scenario of dealing with a gym membership. I shall be advising anyone who asks about a gym in the area to stay away from WSC Gallery Place. Will also be filing a dispute with the Better Business Bureau. This place does not deserve the one star Yelp forces me to enter to write a review. Shameful and shady business practices.

Tough luck if you don't know what you are doing. I bought my membership online, so when I went to my home club I thought I would get a tour, nope. They offered no help at all. Fortunately there are apps. They make it almost impossible to move your home club or cancel by requiring you to go into the club. That's fine, but it's really designed for you to forget and keep giving them money. The club is clean. The shower I uses was cold. There are hairdryers and lotion in the room. You also get a towel.

Every Tuesday at Lunch - Kicking Boxing Cardio with Instructor Bill. Best stress relief, Dedicated and informative teacher who is very knowledgeable about sports injuries. Love that guy and this class. Gym is ok. The staff is making a big effort to get it together. Very clean and modern equipment. Never crowded.

Great gym for those focused on working out at a rock bottom price. Horrible gym for those looking to sunbathe by the pool and drink $10 smoothies. Also a better for weekday workouts because they close early on Saturday and Sunday.

I visit this gym in the mornings during the week, and I look forward to my workouts each and every time in part because of the guy who works the front desk.The gentleman who works at the front desk is beyond friendly and motivating! Sometimes as I ride the stationary bike near the front, I watch as he literally welcomes, jokes, and has short convos with every person who enters and leaves the gym! Working out is tough especially when you are by yourself, and to know that we all have a cheerleader makes a world of difference!
