Wayne Gatling Guide Service

We didn’t have the ideal weather, and knew it might be a little tricky. Add to that two 13 year old first time goose hunters. Wayne got us in the right spot to have a chance, and then our guide Brody worked his tail off to get the leery birds to come into range. The kids had a blast, and we got our limit. We are going to make hunting with Wayne at least an annual tradition, and we will definitely request Brody again.

Great day, we wanted a chance a diver duck and Wayne made it happen. Even after a great goose hunt. Canvasbacks,bluebills, and Canadians is a greaat day, thanks Wayne and Nathan.

We have taken 2 company rock fishing trips with Wayne in Rock Hall. Both times we have all had a blast! He works very hard to make sure everyone has a good time and catches fish. Highly recommend going out with Wayne! We are looking forward to next year's trip!!

An excellent guide service; one of the best experiences on the Eastern Shore. I have hunted the area over the years, from St Michaels to the north end of the bay. Wayne is the best I have worked with. I have hunted with him now on several occasions and he never disappoints. Wayne puts in the time before the hunt to get his blinds in excellent shape and scouts the flights so he can get you into the right locations in plenty of time. His decoy and calling skills are excellent and he is always a lot of fun during the hunt. Just DON'T stick your head up too soon! I have hunted with one of his guides as well and also enjoyed the experience. From Arkansas to Alberta to Maryland, I rate Wayne one of the top three guide services I have used, will continue to use, and recommend highly.

Our group of five spent two days with Wayne hunting geese and ducks. His work ethic, talent and energy are limitless. He literally works around the clock planning each expedition. As a storyteller, he helped the time fly when the birds weren't. However, don't think for a minute he wasn't paying attention to the skies. Right in the middle of a word, he'd suddenly bark, "Get ready! Get ready!. . . " and then he'd launch into some serious calling, simultaneously directing both hunters and birds into a collision course. And after the Herculean amount work he put into getting the birds to that place and time, we wanted to do everything we could to bag our limit. That infectious drive and initiative makes Wayne a real standout. There are far too many anecdotes to contain in a Google review but suffice it to say that we wrapped up the trip with plenty of birds, lessons and great times. Plans for a return trip are already in the works.
