Wayside Pub & Restaurant - Family Bar

My first extended visit. The vibe is just about right. Good service. Beer selection is reasonable but not extensive. Prices are fair. The visit morphed from drinks after work to dinner; had a reasonably good shepherds pie, but the scotch eggs were a bit dry. I don't like drawing conclusions from a single visit, so I'll be back. Hopefully I'll be able to add a star next time around.

A very pleasant experience. Not too loud. Sat at the bar. Bar tender was friendly and gave excellent service. Beer was cold. Bangers and mash was outstanding. I asked if the bangers were made in house. He didn't know.

The waitress we had was horrible, she acted like she did not want to help us. The margarita was sour... fun atmosphere but i wish we had better service and drinks!

Food was great. I had the fish and chips. Beer selection was good also. Friendly staff and good service.

Food was okay, service was okay. Would have been better if the server had been a little more attentive to us. It was after the lunch rush and she seem to be preoccupied with everything else going on in the restaurant and accept her tables.
