Sean Patrick's Irish Pub Texas Grub

If you want to experience a bit of Irish taste my recommendation is Sean Patrick's. A good and varied menu and a pub house atmosphere very much like what I experienced on my visit to Ireland. Closer than any of the other Irish based restaurants I have sampled stateside. It is a favorite of my daughter and family so we go on special occasion. Because of the location parking can be a thing but I think it adds to the hometown feel. Prices are good and their menu is varied. Clean, attentive wait staff - without hovering.

The patio here is very pet friendly!! We are not from San Marcos, but were treated exceptionally well. Food was great, drinks are kickass. Thank you Miss Casey for taking care of us, out standing service. Lilly thanks for posing for pics, love your look!. All around great experience!!!!

First time here, it was okay. They had plenty of TVs and food and beer. I really like the beer selections. I liked that they brewed there own beers. We will go back to try the food. Really cool place to hang in San Marcos.

Great Irish Pub. The Corned beef and cabbage was superb. the chicken pot pie had an unusual but great flavor I can't seem to replicate at home. The Shepard pie was not my cup of tea I guess. The Bangers and mashed is not so great sausage and mashed potatoes, again, not my cup of tea. Sausage and mashed potatoes are not a natural pair, but I'm not a real fan of sausage anyway.

Overpriced drinks for St. Patrick's Day celebrations. Not enough chairs. Too slow to clear off tables. Not enough bar staff. 1st gin and tonic was made with club soda. The band was awesome, but not dance music. $5 entry fee. Happy Cow Bar and Grill has good bands, fair priced drinks, and no cover.
