B.D. Riley's Irish Pub at Mueller

Revised 5/11/18: So B.D. Riley's has really stepped up their game, so impressed with the improvements they have made. All of their salad dressings are now made from scratch and the food has really improved since my below review. This is probably my favorite spot in the neighborhood. So glad they came to Mueller, thanks for working hard on the menu and bringing great food to our hood! So I was super excited to have a pub in the neighborhood, the atmosphere is awesome, the beers/drinks are great but the food needs some work. All of their salad dressings are awful, they taste like they're out of a bottle but way worse and when your eating fried pickles good ranch is a must. I've tried several different of their main dishes and they just aren't that great, they have the potential but just aren't quite there yet.

Was a pretty cool place, we sat outside because the temperature was very nice. The reason I give it 3 stars is because of the food. The menu was pretty big, lots of choices to choose from. But everything I ordered was not that good. It was also a little pricey for the quality of what you get. The drinks we're pretty good and the staff was nice. I don't think I would go back though and if I did it would be to only drink.

The food was fine and the environment is typical pub but the service was fantastic! Our server Nicholas was engaging and funny and when my children's food didn't come out before mine he made sure to fix the situation. He seemed personally offended. Once all our entrees had arrived he checked on us just often enough but not so much that it was awkward. I have to say that B.D. Riley's has a jewel of a server in Nicholas and should we be able to come back I will definitely ask for him personally.

The waitresses at this place were super friendly and accommodating. We were greeted and escorted to a table in such a nice way. It’s such a happy atmosphere. Also, I usually don’t drink alcohol but the Margaritas here are beyond delicious. If you don’t like the taste of alcohol, try the margarita. They are fresh and taste great! I took a sip of my friend’s and ordered one for myself shortly after.

This is my pub! Awesome Guinness on draft, great vibe, delicious dishes. The pace is pretty authentic to an Irish pub and the staff are friendly and awesome! My favorite is either the Boxty or the Irish breakfast. Best of all - this is the Liverpool headquarters for Austin. They play every game no matter how early and atmosphere is amazing. Lots of cheering and singing! Go Reds!
