Durty Nelly's Irish Pub

Love this place. Easily one of the top 10 bars in San Antonio if you ask me...and I own a bar. Small, quaint, and lots of fun. You LITERALLY feel as if you're in a basement pub across "the pond". A must hit if you're in the area and look to get everyone out of their shell

My husband and I were in town for a holiday and walked up and down the river walk looking for an unpretentious and slow bar to have a few cocktails. We were very happy to have found Durty Nelly's. They had a live piano man during the day, a smoking patio, and great drinks. The fish and chips were perfect as well. I recommend this pub.

Great atmosphere! The piano player doing limericks was very funny. We had the Irish fries and they were very tasty. Those and a beer really hot the spot for our late night. The only drawback was service was non-existent on the patio.

This was a very fun place to have a drink. We came in, ordered a beer, and watched a funny piano player take requests from the crowd. He was actually quite a talented painist and vocalist. They have peanuts and a few beers on tap. The venue is dinly lit with older looking furniture, which is about spot on for an Irish pub. The only reason I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 is one of the bartenders took the order of two gentlemen who walked up after me before he took my order. I see that as poor customer service / attention to detail.

This is a favorite on the Riverwalk. Decent selection of beer, and a nice setting for live music. Music is sing-along Style with a piano player. Half comedy show, half music. Worth of visit when you're in the area.
