Weinhardt Party Rentals

We made a reservation for linens with Weinhardt, paid the deposit, have a receipt that says “order is confirmed with payment of deposit”. The day before our event we are told that 1/4 of our custom order is unavailable because we didn’t call them and confirm but were charged for the entire order. Chelsea says she called my husband. There was no unknown number in our phone logs on that day and no messages from this vendor. I was so upset to get this suprise the day before the event. I had to settle for mixed matched linens because that’s all they had. I’ve heard of them and my planner set up my appointment with them. I’m not satisfied with the product or service I received and I’d advise you to spend your event dollars elsewhere if you value good communication, quality product and good customer service. For Chelsea to say “they’re still going to have to pay for whatever they end up getting” was completely unprofessional. I will repeatedly pay for quality and a great experience this why I will never patronize this establishment again.

Chelsea and her manager made an error in confirming a key detail for an event. Rather than take ownership, they were both accusatory and defensive. Providing service is more than delivering a product, it is delivering a professional customer experience. Chelsea and her manager passed the buck, did not apologize, offered a fix that she could not honor, and then had the event planner call back with a second "fix". This was the day before the event. They were more focused on making excuses and explaining, than understanding the inconvenience and stress caused by their error. It was unfortunate enough that I could not recommend anyone trust them with a special event.

Ended up going with another rental vendor due to price and inventory but everyone was nice who I talked to.

Although they have a wonderful product and show room staff is really good, the delivery service is rude. Some of the telephone etiquette needs work as well. We had been told by the salesperson that the tables, chairs and linens would be picked up the Monday following the ceremony. Which worked out perfect because this left room for the tents to be taken down and removed Tuesday. When I called Tuesday morning to find out why they hadn't picked up, the gentleman on the phone laughed stating, " If you want that stuff picked up on a Monday or Tuesday, there is an extra charge." This following a statement made by the delivery guy regarding the napkins, "Man. Those are some ugly colors." Interesting considering those are colors displayed in your showroom. We won't be back.

The sales member seemed helpful. But the cat that was in the shop really bothered me. Cat hair everywhere. I’m allergic to cats and started sneezing . When the associate changed the linens for us on the table to see what they looked like , hair was in the air floating. Made me nervous to use them. Selection seemed a bit limited. I expected more with the weinhardt name.
