The Pageant

I absolutely love coming to The Pageant. The Pageant has to be one of the top venues in the Midwest. They regularly bring in top-notch acts, and they aren't limited to just musical acts. The production level is very good, and the sound production can be excellent - attending Lamb of God, I was able to discern the dual contrasting guitar parts, which is really pretty good. Lots of space for the audience, with multiple levels allowing for the viewer to have multiple opportunities for a good vantage point. The bar is also good, but I couldn't tell you much about that, as I don't drink. The Pageant is a wonderful venue!

Great size venue. Small enough to feel intimate no matter where you sit or stand. I've seen countless shows here in a number of configurations. The staff is well organized and professional so long as you follow the rules. Easy enough. Parking is limited on the venue lot but you can easily park in the metro lot behind the venue, just be sure to hide any valuables.

I've been here lots of times and it is my favorite venue, but this was the first time I went to an all ages show, I was chaperoning my teenage son and his girlfriend. I was impressed with how they handled the security and the alcohol situation. I feel really good about letting my son come here again without me. Once an underage person is in they have to stay or they can't come back in again. As a parent who doesn't always want to see my son's favorite concerts I am happy that there are so many nearby restaurants and a great in house bar where I can hang out for the entire show.

It's a great music venue with a variety of acts that shown. The venue is split into over 21 and under 21 sections. The staff did their jobs well and the crowds are pretty reasonable in terms of behavior. The place has a great location in the St. Louis Loop area. There is parking behind the place and the stage looks pretty cool too. Hope this helps!

Great venue. Seating is limited, but the tiered floor makes for a decent view of the acts. Drink service can be somewhat slow after the show gets started if you are not seated at the bar. The balcony was closed during my visit, so I cannot comment on what that experience entails.
