Evangeline's Bistro and Music House

Let me start with the band it was great. The food was horrible, olive garden would have been better. I spent $98 for some watery pasta and very dry chicken bourbon oh but the drinks great too. First time there. We should have walked down a little further for good food and service

Incredible New Orleans cuisine. Best gumbo outside of New Orleans. Quality live music every night. Great beer selection. The best cocktails in the city. They use the finest of ingredients. Try their Aviation cocktail.

My sister took us here for the Sunday New Orleans Jazz brunch. What a treat! Great food, great music, an exceptional Bloody Mary bar, and great service--all at a reasonable price in an authentic New Orleans atmosphere. Highly recommend, but reserve in advance.

I came here with my family on a Sunday with my family for brunch and to listen to their live music. The food is always delicious and the music is great! It does tend to be a little busier for Sunday brunch so be prepared for that, but it is definitely worth the wait!

We had an amazing experience at Evangeline's. We had a large party (more than 10) and they were very accommodating. We all started off with some cocktails; they have an excellent selection ranging from champagne cocktails to classics like mint juleps. They have a great selection of whiskey and scotch too. After that, they took all of our food orders. I should add that I have to be gluten free or I will get sick. I mentioned this to our waitress and was happily surprised to find out that many of their menu items are gluten free. I ordered the BBQ shrimp and grits. Wow! Those shrimp and grits are delicious, savory and flat out amazing. Honestly, eating them was a notable life experience. The evening we went there was a live band, I wish I could remember their name because they were great. The music really set the atmosphere. We wanted to hang around longer just to listen to them. I really can't say enough great things about this restaurant; I'd be remiss if I didn't mention how organized they were considering our large party. Overall Evangeline's was a wonderful experience!
