This is the classiest place to hear live jazz in the area. The food is not overpriced, but it is also not cheap. You get what you pay for in this place, so the quality is high as is the cost. If you just want to hear jazz and not eat, that is fine--get a cup of coffee and glass of water and relax.

They have great shows on a regular basis with critically acclaimed local artists. They're one of the few options we have to watch a good jazz show and this place takes it seriously. Great acoustics all around. The menu options are delicious and generous and the location has a well stocked bar.

First time at Jazz at the Bistro. We saw Funky Butt Brass Band. Enjoyed the evening very much. Awesome venue for live music. All seats are reserved. We got the tickets that dinner was served. I would highly recommend Jazz at the Bistro!

Wonderful entertainment and dinner. Waitress was very good. Pineapple cheesecake was outstanding.

Just saw John Scofield & Joe Lovano here tonite. THE premiere jazz club in the Midwest. The renovation done (a couple of years ago. I think) has expanded the seating & opened up the place. Just an elegant (but not stuffy), first-rate place to hear the greats in jazz music.
