Dr Denning is amazing. She has cared for our 2 rescue huskies since they were found/adopted. She’s the most patient, wonderful vet and we trust her judgement completely. She takes her time, explains all options, provides cost alternatives if you need it, and is has the warmest bedside manners. She makes your animals feel as if they are part of her family as she cares for them.
You won't find a better vet. They have taken excellent care of my senior dog. Vet calls to follow up on patients progress/condition and with lab/test results. They are responsibly priced and affordable care is everything when it comes to our fur babies...they saved moto's life!! He got very sick and because he's 10yrs old every vet said stop his suffering..put him down. BUT THEY DIAGNOSED HIS RARE DISEASE AND TREATED IT!!!
I’m shocked so many ungrateful reviews , my pet would not have received a life changing foreign body obstruction surgery if it weren’t for them . I arrived and was immediately taken back for X-rays and promptly given a diagnosis . The woman that works up front blonde petite woman is beyond amazing and empathetic on every level , I was directed to an affordable clinic where my dog was able to get the surgery needed and We would not have been so lucky had it not been for them. I will beyond recommend .
I have been taking my dog here for years. Everyone is very friendly and professional. They are wonderful to my Jake Jake!!
Very courteous and friendly staff as usual. The Vet was professional, explained things clearly, very kind and easy to speak with. Just be prepared to pay a higher cost for pet services due to a drastic change in their pricing. It cost me nearly $400 for pet services. I was told during my visit, this is because of new ownership and no more subsidization via the Humane Society, which generated the lower cost for pet services. Unfortunately, they do not notify clients of this change before hand, they just inform you of cost during your appointment, so it's your choice to proceed with services. Since I was already there, I went ahead and got my annual pet stuff completed.
Our puppy needed exploratory surgery, and this clinic was half the cost of all other places in town! He healed quickly with no complications. They did such a wonderful job and were so thankful!
Because sometimes a pet owner has to make the tough decision to put a beloved pet to sleep, and it’s the worst. But the caring, kind staff took great care of me and my doggo. I was delighted that they have a special room - the quiet room. A staff member walked me through the process and took my payment. I got to spend plenty of time with my sweetie. I chose to stay in the room for the procedure and hold my big baby. And that meant the world to me. And they even will made a clay paw print at no additional charge.
I have been taking Mable to Wellpet humane ever since I've had her. Mable is 14 years old now. In the last couple of months she has been going there because Mable, was panting, drinking lots of water and not eating. I will be naming the Dr's, On 7/27/22 I took Mable in she was seen by Dr Tift, Mable, was diagnosed that two teeth needed to be extracted, so I take her in on 8/12/22 two teeth were removed by Dr Rosa Denning Contren, I get her home and Mable, was not eating, panting, and drinking lots of water, So I take her back in on 8/17/22 to be seen by Dr Rosa Denning Contren. Dr Rosa Denning Contren, prescribed a prescription to increase Mable appetite. I get Mable home and she continues to have the same symptoms, so I take her in again on 8/26/22 to be seen by Dr Ayana Cuica, Dr Cuica, checked Mable's records and found out that there was never any blood work Performed on Mable. I felt like I had been hit in the head by a 2x4 Dr Cuica, performed blood work on Mable, found out that Mable was suffering from Cushing Disease of the liver, Mable, would have to be on medication for the rest of her life. My heart dropped. I was so upset at all the vets involved with Mable, excluded Dr Cuica, I asked Dr Cuica, if she thought Mable needed two teeth removed and she said she could not be certain, still there was no excuse for these Dr's not doing blood work on my animal especially doing surgery. I asked Dr Cuica, if she could get the manager for me. Ashley Smith, I told the manager that there was no excuse for these vet's not doing blood work on Mable, I told her because of their irresponsibility to my animal, I feel that Wellpt Humane should take responsibility for my pet, I believe that Wellpet Human, should credit money back to me because of their negligence not knowing that they put Mable in grave danger during surgery. I argued with her until I was blue in the face, she would not even think about working with me on the bill, she was going to charge me regardless. I'm a senior and the money they were charging was unbelievable, I believed in Wellpet Humane and the safety of my animal, they would not treat Mable that day unless I paid $335.00 dollars. I'm sure that people love going there and at one time so did I. I have called them several times to get Mable's record, I still haven't heard from them Linda Myers
