Wheeler's Bagels

All I can say is excellent. Amazing baked goods and great sandwhiches, the coffee is just right for those colder mornings. We traveled nearly 2 hours from our home to stock up for the next month or so with bagels and muffins, the owner recognized our faces (it had been nearly a year since our last trip) and was quick to help accommodate the travel time with ices and freezer bags. Friendly staff. If you need bagels, show wheelers some love, this locally owned business is beyond deserving of it.

I was a little shy about going into a bagel shop. I amagined an yuppy rich people atmosphere, but not at all. It was casual and friendly. The owner greeted me himself. I didn't know much about bagels or cheses so he gave me some samples. The strawberry cream cheese was amazing. I just had it on a bagel I think he called cinnamon crunch. It by far exceeded my expectations!

Had a nova lox bagel. Best one that I've had in this area. A little heavy on the cream cheese, but the lox was excellent.

I had the protein sandwich and for 5 dollars it was great, but a little bland. The chicken wasn't seasoned and I would have preferred the bagel more toasted. My wife got a bacon egg and cheese bagel which also was good but she thought the Asiago bagel tasted a little like a giant pretzel. I thought the bagel was great but it wasn't her thing. She got an iced coffee that was really good and a blueberry bagel with strawberry cream cheese to go, which was all really good. The staff was incredibly friendly and I found the atmosphere warm and inviting. Free Wi-Fi was also available. Reasonably priced and tasty all around with great staff and atmosphere. Would definitely go back!

Best iced coffee in Johnson City, the stud muffin is amazing and the staff is nothing short of incredible. They make you feel like part of their family!
