Whole Foods Market

This was a different and I feel positive experience. While I do expect to have to pay more for wholesome food the overall price difference wasn't as dramatic. While I didn't buy a weeks but only a few items my overall impression was quite favorable... Like $1.49 organic pasta, $4.95 20oz organic soy sauce, etc. Couscous was the same price, meats were less expensive in some cases. Very generous selection within categories with prices reflecting perceived value...I don't carry a mass spectrometer...ha. It is out of the way for me and not convenient but I'm thinking of at least a weeks groceries to evaluate price verses subjective value Mb even the following week as well. It's criminal in America that eating wholesome food is so costly however between all my choices in town this seems to be a middle of the road if I want the ratio of Omega 6 and 3, for example, too be natural... But hey they claimed lard was poison and give us hydrogenated fat instead that doesn't even appear in nature. If you're not a test tube baby like me I recommend this store but don't expect a weeks groceries for $50 a person but that's America.

Thank goodness for Whole Foods! Bit of nostalgia from back home! Same great food & selection of food! Aged meat so tender! Awesome crab legs! Wish I lived around the corner. Weekly 45min ride but we'll worth the trip!

I love whole foods. They have a great line of specialty foods that you can find only in couple other selected stores.. unfortunately, the store in Jacksonville do not carry a lot of products that I always purchased coming from NC. But still clean beautiful great quality and yet to improve customer service. They make the best cakes..

I love coming here to buy their macaroons and pastries. They are so delicious and reasonably priced. I could get a whole box if macaroons for less than $12, with different flavors. My favorite is the coconut ones. I also like to shop for healthy snacks here as well as other organic food. Although the fruits and veggies are pricier here, they are very fresh. The store is huge and open, it's fun to browse around and find the items that are on sale for the week.

If you like a variety of fresh food, hard to find vegan products this is the place to shop. They also have a buffet that has a great selection of ethnic items. You pay by the pound. Nice area to eat the food.
