9/26/22 - great flavor, juicy, tender, fresh. The brisket is great it falls apart in your mouth very delicious. The sausage great flavor, overall every time that I go to get barbecue from there I always know that I'm going to get a great product from them One of the best barbecue places their meats are juicy tender and you can tell that they put attention to detail when they are taking care of the meats. Coleslaw fresh tasty very different than others but taste good. Hey one of the best potato salads that I ever had
Rudy’s it is! Received a gift card for Christmas and decided to put it to work. Card purchased on Whole Hog website, Albuquerque location doesn’t except them, oh, only reason I went there. Ordered on line price $45.02, arrived at restaurant, first thing the price was $5.00 higher than advertised online, wouldn’t take their own gift card. Though it’s in the store, potato salad cannot be ordered as a side website. On board in restaurant, they charge $1.05 for to go containers. Then individual lady behind counter fairly rude. Picture below was $54, not sure if issues were do to shortages, current state of inflation, or what. Without rating food! Suggestion, stay home and cook with family!
I don't like to write negative reviews but this time I have to. I got Whole Hog for a Christmas meal three years ago and it was delicious. This year I just got the buddy pack for 4 for me and my son. I was shocked to see such a small amount of meat and sides. The meat was so so tasting and kind of dry. I like Bush beans better than the baked beans we got, the hamburger buns they gave to make a sandwich with were just awful, they tasted like stale awful bread. And I ordered half beef and half chicken for the meat and they gave me pork instead of beef. And that small amount of food came to $54. Never again. I would've been happier with the delicious roast chicken from Costco and the sides they have too.
Pretty decent honestly. I got the platter this time because I was there with a friend and we split the cost. It was total $25 and comes with an almost half rack of ribs, brisket and pulled pork. Brisket was a bit on the dry side. Speaking of sides: meh. The baked beans were good and made up for the almost bland slaw and basic potato salad had me almost questioning my lunch choices. The BBQ sauces were good and came in about six different flavors in bottles that you could liberally squirt onto your food at will.
Best pulled pork sandwich in a long time...appreciate that they let you put your own sauce on!! Fast service, too! Parking: Easy in, plenty of parking Wheelchair accessibility: Yes though you will need someone to hold the door as it isn't automated
Love this spot. Place was clean and fresh. We ordered the brisket nachos and the whole hog platter enough food for two people if you're very hungry, if not, it is enough for three and a side of sausage. It was a lot of food and it was tasty! We had a lot leftover. The potato salad was VERY delicious because it was made with sour cream instead of mayo. Our favorite BBQ sauces were 3 and 5. Sweet, savory, and a bit spicy. On top of the food being good, the customer service was stellar. Kudos to Aracely for being so helpful, kind, and friendly. I'll definitely go back when I'm in Albuquerque again. **Also, there's a Pokémon gym if you or your kids play PoGo.
Don’t know this place is rated four stars on google, as I was skeptical to visit because of. However it was actually really really good. I had the brisket sandwich with a side of baked beans and jalapeño Mac and cheese. Everything was spectacular. Plenty of meat in the sand which and sauces #1 sweet and #2 traditional were fantastic. Thanks again Whole Hog!
There are mixed reviews about this place. For me and my family we had a great time great food. portions are more than filling. hostess was helpful in helping us order so that we paid less as far as a combination plate would have been , with splitting the meal for the kids. Kid-friendliness: They provide high chairs . Was allowed to use alternative cup for toddler . Parking: They provide parking for their customers Wheelchair accessibility: There is a wheelchair ramp and plenty of tables with wheelchair access
We all know that this place is stupid good. I dare to say it's the best potato salad I've ever had time and time again. Tonight we went to marble and placed a call in order. The customer service was top notch, they made it super quick and it was exceptional on every possible slace. 10/10 will order again.
Fast and friendly service. Food was amazing. I'm never let down by this place. Bathrooms and dining area were clean and well kept although the bathroom is desperate for updates. Women pay attention to this kind of thing. We feel better about the over all dining experience if a restroom is inviting. The toilet looked like it was being held down to the floor by tens pounds of poorly applied silicon that was on the clearance rack at Walmart. Now moving on to the better part of the visit....... The selection of sauces on the table are impressive. And my husband loves over indulging with one particular drink here..... This is one of the few places in town that offers Mr. Pibb, his favorite. We will defiantly visit again.
