One of the good places in ILLINOIS state. Good opportunity for trekkers. All scenic places are far away so you have to walk 6-8 miles to cover all points. Best to visit in fall season...............,.......................

Amazing place to walk, as this canyon is a part of the starved rock state park ! I’ve seen most of the canyons there, pretty long walk ! I believe I was about 2 miles into the walk when I got to the end canyon, later looked at a map and there was a whole other side I never got to! Easily walked 6 miles that day ! Wildcat canyon is awesome :) last time I was there we got tons and tons of rain so the water was rushing !

Was very happy with the trails. Goal is to hike them all. The canyon was very impressive.
