A hidden gem for local camping, hiking and fishing.  Absolutely well kept--park staff are friendly and hard workers!  The cabins are beautifully located by the lake and are a fantastic place to rent for a getaway from suburbia with your friends or family.  Super clean and safe.   Fun summer events too like movies and star gazing.

Newer facilities. Love the first camping area with the large trees and easy lake access. Hosts are helpful and friendly. Rangers are always busy. My favorite place in Iowa.
