The slushies are AMAZING!!!!! The staff are so helpful!! My kids love love love the slide. Only negative was the long lines, but so worth it!!

Rules were different with every life guard. One life guard let any size kid ride the frog slide, one only let smaller kids. One lifeguard let my son ride the slide by himself the other made him have a parent ride and another made me wait at the bottom. Even though he met the height requirements and they made it difficult for patents with multiple kids even though my son knows how to swim but wears a life jacket for safety. Also they allowed kids in the shallow area to hurt the little kids and even though there was complaints did nothing about it.

Hours on website and google are wrong!! The pool closes to the public from 3:30-6pm for private lessons. We drove across town and arrived at 3pm, only got to swim 30 minutes. I talked to a manager about changing the hours on the website but she was very aggressive and unconcerned. Very nice pool, wish we could have enjoyed it.

Great Portland parks and recreation facility at the Great Ida B. Wells high school. Great for families with kids of all ages ... two pools, diving, slides, kiddie slide and lazy river with a swirling vortex of terror... well not really ... lots of fun. Fills up quick on weekends and it's very packed on hot days. They serve snacks too.

Finally a pool with couple water features for kids. Cheap snacks. Entry is 4,50 for youth and 5,50 adult. Lot of lifeguards! Only negative that its really crowded and some people occupy spaces which they dont use so dont hesitate to ask them to make space.

I have gone a few times, so much fun for the kiddo, lifeguards are abundant and attentive. Good spots to shade or sun. Overall I find most public pools overwhelming, but there is a nice quiet area in the back corner.

Lines are so long! Takes 45 -1hr to get it. They should do pre sale or use mobile phones to scan credit cards to get people in faster!! This is ridiculous! Tax payer dollars at work! Typical city state slowness!

Very cool place to take the kids on a hot day. It would be 5 stars if there was more shaded spots to hang out. 95% sun coverage on the whole property.

Some days it gets extremely packed, but that's to be expected it's a great pool. Other days you get lucky and get a view like this for an hour or so... Pack a lunch and come ready to enjoy the day.

Slide is fun for even little kids. Loved outdoors. Locker rooms are a big minus. No showers for getting off the pool water.
