Closest stop to visit the Smithsonian zoo
Best Zoo Experience I've had since I was a child. Completely free! Every animal was active and/or present. Main pathways allowed for walkers and joggers without problems. Water was provided for us because of the extreme heat.
Good location. Easy to board. Steep escalator but just hold on and you'll be fine. Buying a card/pass was weird because the machine has way too many buttons spaced far away from each other.
Best metro station to get quick access to the national Zoo and Adams Morgan. All together very convenient for any efficient transportation needs in NW DC.
Clean and airi
The second deepest metro station in the city. Safe and relatively clean, but there can bottlenecks during busy hours because there's only one exit and set of escalators off the platform. There's also a pretty gross dripping problem in a ceiling above the platform that's been there for a few months now.
Greatest Zoo I have ever seen, completely free, and all animals were present, unlike in other zoos where half of the animals are missing.
Convient location.. Not bad for a metro stop as far as cleanliness goes and general surrounding area.
